STOP IT WITH THE FLIPPING 504 CODES!!!!!!!

Hi there I’m addington ruiz I use book share due to my visual impairment cause I cannot read normal books. I was at school on 12-7-21/today and the website had/has a 504 code on saying in pacific from 4-6 the website would be down. This made me frustrated HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO READ?!?! I had/ have finished all my work and didn’t/DONT have/had a thing to do except sit there/here! Please enough with these codes they are TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😫😖😤😠otherwise great book website love it

Sincerely,
Addington rose ruiz

Conflict of the name Bookshare

I agree with the other reviewer. This should not be called Bookshare because it is confusing to people who are equating this with Bookshare. org for people with reading disabilities.

This is not Bookshare

Bookshare already exists (Bookshare.org) and serves disabled people. Please choose another name so as not to waste the time of people like me, who downloaded your app assuming it was for the real bookshare.

Can’t manually add titles

Without the ability to manually enter titles, it’s not usable.

Can’t open the book

I put the book in my Library and I can’t read it

I want to love this App.

I truly love the concept of “Bookshare” and want to leave a better review, but getting past all of its glitches can be frustrating.
For one, it crashes consistently, especially when you try and use the bar code scanner, view a friends library, or even just open the app itself.

The manual search isn’t very intuitive. You can type in the exact title of a book you’re looking for and it will show suggestions that don’t match first, forcing you to scroll and scroll until you find the book you’re looking for. Even then, there’s no option to edit the listing (sometimes covers or descriptions are incorrect) or add your own, like with other apps. Overall, the developers had a great idea that just fell short and it doesn’t seem they’re in a rush to revamp anytime soon.
