Incredibly disappointed

Never seen these devs use so much ai. There was a ton of creativity and thought put into the older games, and this feels lifeless 💔

Pas mal pour un début, je joue depuis très longtemps au jeu de famille mais la plupart son anglais il faudrait penser à mettre d’autres langues c’est pas gênant mais penser à diversifier, j’ai remarqué un petit problème dans le jeu on ne peut pas emboîter les objets l’un sur l’autre en gros je ne peux pas mettre de lampadaire sur une table mais comme le jeu vient de sortir j’attends de voir une évolution, le boulot de nos personnages son à revoir le manque d’argent est problématique j’attends beaucoup du jeu.

It Would’ve Been a Nice Game If It Was Better Balanced

It’s a nice game, but my people are always getting sick, and the medication is way too expensive. No one can afford it with only a $6 salary. If they’re not sick, then I have to hire an exterminator instead for this and that.

It would be much better if I could choose the medicine based on what illness they have, like in the older Virtual Families games. Right now, it feels like you have to earn a huge amount of money just to keep everyone healthy, which makes the game more frustrating than enjoyable.

Too many bugs, ui too small, inventory is too small on the right

Can place multiple same items after buying once, cant place bathroom again once deleted, cant hang towels due to walls disappearing, directions not really clear once entering the neighbor- especially after entering the house didnt know how to get out, unclear of the year

Do not waste your time. Seriously.

Before you read further, this game is a waste of time. This is ONLY, ONLY a short term game. Don’t spend a single PENNY on this game. DO NOT, no matter how “affordable” it sounds, you won’t get anything.
Ive given this many tries after playing religiously all of the other games they have produced. For a game that tried to emphasize on “generations” they do a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE job. Families trees disappear completely after a generation, and your 50 year old virtual family member will still appear as a baby 1 generation later. They don’t offer refunds, and they are a SCAM!!!! Scam scam SCAM. No update to user interface once any kid is born, so you can’t go back and reflect on all your hard work and story building, because by the time the “natural” times passed, they are still a simple baby image, and they will get erased as soon as you make progress. this game is the worst is this entire lineup they have. Lazy developers. Don’t give them anymore money until they bother to fix it because they are LAZY!!!! Don’t release a game until it’s ready for your “customers” to enjoy. It’s disgusting.

Not saving my progress

Lately the game has not been saving my progress. For example when my son got married it didn’t save and then when I renovated the home and added rooms it didn’t save either. It’s been frustrating having to do it all over again. Please fix this as soon as possible. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much :)

Glitch

You can’t even begin to do the beginning tutorial because the game just glitches non stop. It tells you what to do you go clicking and then everything stops working. Have to restart the whole game to make it work

Have to keep closing and opening game

I open the game and play, have to close out and open again because it keeps freezing in a way. The characters still do their thing but I can’t close out of anything, click on anything nor be able to move my characters. I want to play it but I’m not gonna keep closing and opening over and over again just to play it 🤷‍♀️

I wanted to like it

Guys, i get it, we need to earn money But you have turned virtual families into a cash grabbing money hungry AI slop-esque game. This was one of the best games ever, especially during covid. It was soothing, the music was wonderful, the textures on the grass wonderful, the sunlight peeking through after rain? EXQUISISTE.
This new version is so flat, sooo soo flat, there is no charm, nothing that makes me feel like going through with the game. You reduced the hourly wage to 2 coins per hour??? Who does that?? You push for us to watch adds to get extra coins, honestly, this downfall was not expected.
If you did want micro transactions in the games, you could have introduced packs like paranormal jobs, pay to join community, new type of house styles like gothic, beach or barbie, cute outfits, maybe open new locations like the beach or park or cafes. I’m sorry, you people are ruining your own treasure. Please go back to your original style and introduce packs that i am 1000% sure long time fans would be willing to buy.

You were part of my childhood, please don’t ruin this for all of us.

AI IMAGES RUIN THE GAME

I have played LDW games for ten years, and of course I enjoyed them. The art illustrations from previous games added so much to their charm, especially for virtual families. This game, however, feels soulless and lazy in comparison. There are some exciting new elements, but they are entirely overshadowed by the ugly AI illustration shown on the app icon and within the game. PLEASE consider hiring actual artists like you have in your earlier games, or at least remove the artificially generated images. They really take away from the player’s enjoyment and discourage use. Using AI images is like a slap in the face for all fans/players by the way!

Repairs and outages. Progress completely wiped out

The fact that when something is broken you’re not allowed to edit your home it’s disgusting. You’re stuck behind a paywall.
You are stuck with three options, buy a maintenance man, pay £2 for a weekly subscription or fix it yourself for an ever changing success rate.
I have been unable to play my game properly for 3 days because I cannot fix a fly infestation. You won’t get me to buy anything I’ll just stop playing because there are more enjoyable games out there, like solitaire and sodoku who don’t lock things behind paywalls.

From April I logged into the app to find all of my data deleted. When I contacted them they told me there is nothing they could do. I maxed out the game.

Everything is expensive

I really wanted to love this game but I hate that everything is so expensive. I’ll save and save until I have $1500 and then suddenly I have an ant problem and it costs $1200 to fix. And I’m back at square one. I like the old one better when calling an exterminator doesn’t cost more than $1000

Major malfunctions, such as leaks, electricity outages, etc., will require the help of a professional repair technician (this includes hauntings and infestations). You'll receive a pop-up when interacting with an outage, which will allow you to hire the appropriate repair person for the job!
