Orthopedic consultation
I’m very disappointed that the charge of $1,800.00 for a review is not covered covered by insurance. My insurance covers second opinions. I have been told by two orthopedic doctors that surgery for knee replacement for me is risky. Your Arthritis Newsletter advertises Cleveland Clinic has alternatives for knee surgery. I’ve had several cardiac procedures at Cleveland Clinic so it made sense to contact you. The trip from Illinois is long and I am a widow so it’s not an easy trip for me to make and one that in the end might not be able to help me. The $1,800.00 charge that is to be agreed to at the end of all the information I provided is deceptive and disappointing.
