Good, but also Awful...
OK, this game is OK, I guess, but really? 8 people? Come ON. I know, it's to get you to PAY for a different version, of course. It's EXTREMELY difficult to keep everyone alive at first, food is... Gone very, VERY fast, and it gets frustrating. Don't get this game if you have anger issues, because it gets sooo annoying!

Love the Game, Hate the Version
First of all, I would like to say I love Virtual Villagers. I completed the first one a while back, so it was natural that I move on to the second one. And this is why the review has two stars instead of one.
However, when I started the second one, I was given all females and two males. But even that would've been okay if it weren't for the fact you have a max population of eight people! Therefore, I had to wait until all of my villagers were in their fifties before I could have another kid, and even then, it was a girl. So my villagers grew older, and I finally got them to have another kid, and guess what? It was a girl again. And after that, they got too old to HAVE kids, so I had to restart.
So I restart the game, and the SAME EXACT THING happens, only this time I get two females.
So this is a great game, but the population limit and uneven gender statistics make me so frustrated! Do not get this game, it isn't worth it. You can't complete the game!

Add more things?
I wish you could place your own items and hunt other things.And maybe add pets??It's fun and kinda addicting but still.Please add more stuff to the game.

Dying generations.
This game is not really fun it's impossible to live every day I go on my villagers are dead virtual villagers 1,2,3,4and 5 Impossible. Bad game nothing to do just to watch people die! ItLeaves there a skeletons seriously you have to do that! When I have villagers fish they never catch fish and when the dumb things finally catch one it doesn't even count I wihenworried about food it's because of them not me! This game is the last day of work designers problem not mine!

Ok, so, the start was pretty good - two villagers fell down a waterfall and saw these weird lost kids. Then, it got really bad! The graphics at the beginning was sort of realistic, but then when I got onto the actual game, the little people looked like sticks with bobble heads! Don't waste your money!

Food is ez to get
All you have to do is build a Dan at the stream and you are good for life you need 2builder on it you need rack 2 in engerring to do it build a scarow by the sticks by the waterfall hope this helps.

Awesome but
I love it. Great game to play, super addicting, and my 7 yr old lil sis is practically begging me to play it. Only the tech point things are so expensive, and it's really hard to make babies. I'll give it 5 stars if you fix these problems!!!!!!
MERPAY?
I can't continue in this game! Whenever I start, there's like zero food as well as no other starting food source, and all my little villagers starve to death before I can produce any tech points to upgrade to get the coconuts. Help?

All my villagers are dead in one hour dumb game. This game stinks don't get it I really meant to give it not even one star! I hate it if you like stupid stuff get it! I deleted it after one hour of the game. DUMB I HATE IT

I like this game a lot, but there is algae in the ocean and my villagers won't go back in to fish and they starve themselves. How do I get it out? Is there another way to get food?
Adds are NOT in the full version.
I just bought the full version of this game on my ipad and the adds do not appear. Yes, this version is very annoying with the adds but if that's what's putting you off buying the full version, re-think it because the adds aren't in it :)

I love these games but was really disappointed when I found I can only have 8 villagers and cannot get anymore babies!
Disappointed
I liked the other versions, but I was disappointed when I couldn't even start the game. A glitch or something wouldn't allow a keyboard to pop up to allow me to name the tribe; and it wouldn't let me start without naming it.
