Good emulation, but I was hoping it would work with the new Virtual Boy accessory.
I downloaded this emulator because I got the Virtual Boy accessory and was hoping this would be a more permanent way to play VB games with it when the NSO servers shut down. Unfortunately this emulator dosent have the option to display both VB eyes next to each other and adjust them to fit the VB’s lenses. I’m still giving this emulator 3 stars because it’s still a really good 2D VN emulator and they can update it in the future to make it work with the accessory

A free working Virtual Boy Emulator
So originally in a Nintendo direct from last year they said virtual boys would be coming to the expansion pack service for switch and switch 2 owners alike so I wanted to get a taste for Virtual boy Wario Land and Mario Clash before I purchase the $100 virtual boy accessory for my switch 2 and this app did not disappoint. Virtual Boy Wario land is also a very fun game but didn’t finish it because I’m saving it for my switch 2 virtual boy experience.

Great App, Missing a Feature
I’m glad I found this emulator. I tested a few games and it runs very smoothly. However, I am a bit disappointed that there’s no Stereoscopic 3D/VR support as that’s what the original virtual boy was geared as. If that could be a future update, that would be awesome!

This feels like Im playing virtual boy in 1995 but on the go! And I think a vr headset would be just feel like your playing virtual boy

This deserves more reviews. A great emulator that focuses on bringing to life the much forgotten Virtual Boy. I love being able to play Wario Land Virtual Boy on the go and with ease 😊

I enjoy it. Two things it needs is cardboard support as in 2 side by side screen for phone headsets which would be cool, and fix the buzzing sound in Hyper Fighting.

As an owner of a Virtual Boy console, I can’t tell you how happy I am to see that this app exists, THANK YOU. The app works great and I have enjoyed being able to play my favourite VB games on my Vision Pro. I have also sent a tip, well deserved.
Genuinely Impressive App
I was expecting an emulator for Virtual Boy on this platform would take a long, long time. I’m glad I was wrong. This plays well, and as someone who owns the actual console, the 3D effect is superb. I also appreciate how easy it is to run games. The UI is light and simple.
Some games, however, do run slow, and some games crash after about 10 minutes into gameplay. I trust that the developer will look into these small issues.
If I could add anything, I would add button mapping, and maybe perhaps an all-black environment to mimic the feel of looking into an actual Virtual Boy.
Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. Thank you for this amazing contribution to a niche fan base.

The Dream of the Nineties is Alive on Apple Vision Pro
Played games using an SN30 pro controller and I have to imagine this is everything N*nt*nd* wishes its console was when it was initially released (I say this as someone who played one in the nineties and was confused). The stereoscopic effects are a great proof of concept that gaming can work on this platform in a way that’s distinct from just large iPad games

This app is a superb way to experience a way of playing video games created by an enthusiast community that might otherwise be lost to history, thanks to all who worked on the development to make it possible!
Rated four stars right now because there are some features not present that would be helpful such as save states, etc and some minor bugs but I’m one of the many fans that are eager for more updates and want to see this project continue to get better over time. Hoping to add another star soon because this app does and will continue to deserve more recognition and accolades.

A must have for Nintendo fans
This app is something that I would highly recommend since this is essentially the perfect platform for really showing what the Virtual Boy was about in terms of doing “3D” graphics. If you’re looking to play some obscure viewmaster-esk pixel art games then this would be it.
Though as of this review there is still a bit of a sound issue(Sound samples are slow and lower pitch, some sounds not being on-par with the original hardware), everything else is perfect.

Second best VB Emulator out there
Despite the already existing retroarch VB emulator, this one is the the second best one out there, you can change the color of the game and other things. Thanks!

Incredible accuracy and tons of features
Probably one of the best way to play Virtual Boy games, and its all ad free. Also it works right out the gate with any wired/bluetooth controllers. And it works well with the backbone controller. I highly recommend overall. Thank you to the developer for your incredible work!
