“There’s an App for That” & Now Apple’s “Got an App for This” An App For “Perfection of Uselessness”
Welcome to VirtualSIM.. an app that sells you virtual mobile numbers that do literally nothing!
• Can you send SMS? - No!
• Can you receive SMS? - No!
• Can you make calls? - No!
• Can you receive calls? - No!
So what are you buying? A pretty blue app icon and a number that serves no purpose.. a paid logo sitting on your phone as a silent reminder of wasted money..
I purchased not one.. not two.. but three numbers! None of them worked.. I contacted the developer.. no response.. Your money disappears.. and so does support..
Naturally.. trusting Apple’s well-known focus on customer experience.. I requested a refund.. Apple denied it.
I then submitted a detailed appeal.. explaining everything clearly with proof.. but it too was rejected without explanation.
That was not just disappointing.. it was emotionally disheartening.. as a long-time Apple customer I expected better protection.. not indifference.
In frustration.. and to make a point.. I purchased two more numbers from this app.. not because I needed them.. but to show that this was never about money.. this was about trust.. and having faith that the App Store would uphold basic standards.
Sadly.. Apple’s silence made its position clear.. sometimes profits seem to matter more than customer protection.
To be clear.. VirtualSIM as an app is completely non-functional in my experience.. and I strongly advise others to avoid it.
And Apple.. please reconsider how apps like this are handled on your platform.. and how refund requests from loyal customers are evaluated.. because situations like this damage trust far more than any financial loss.

It tells you that you have a free phone number to use for a day then it deletes the number as soon as you register proving that the devs are money hungry texts don’t work either it’s only phone calls

Установил приложение начал 3-дневную пробную версию с оплатой через 3 дня, а деньги списались почти сразу. Это одна проблема. Вторая - пополнил баланс на 5€ за 499 рублей, купил номер за 3€, а в итоге этот номер нельзя использовать при регистрации ChatGPT. Очень расстроен всей ситуаций. Крайне не рекомендую, если вам нужен рабочий виртуальный номер.
