VIRUS: Outbreak

VIRUS turns the world around you into a friendly outbreak. Using Bluetooth, VIRUS senses other players near you — in the same room, cafe, or street — and turns proximity into a game. You don't choose your side: the outbreak assigns you a role. CARRIER — Get close to healthy players to spread the infection. Build your streak, raise your R0, and evolve into a Superspreader. HEALER — Carry the cure. Heal the infected around you and keep your neighborhood safe. HEALTHY — Stay clean. Dodge outbreaks, watch the map, and don't let carriers get too close. HOW IT WORKS • Proximity is detected over Bluetooth between phones — not by sharing your exact GPS location with anyone. • The map shows nearby hotspots and hospitals, plus a heat view of where the outbreak is spreading — always aggregated, never revealing any individual's position. • Everything that matters — who's infected, your HP, your score — is decided by the server, so the game stays fair. PRIVACY FIRST Your precise location never leaves your device to be shown to other players. The identifiers broadcast over Bluetooth are anonymous and rotate regularly. No ads, no third-party trackers. VIRUS is best played out in the world, with friends and strangers nearby. Spread it or cure it — your role is set. What will you do with it?
