About
VisionPad is a software that turns the iPad into a visual acuity measurement tool and a complete platform for vision function testing.
It makes it simple and accurate to run a wide range of visual tests, displaying optotypes — letters, numbers, and symbols — directly on the iPad screen. Testing distance is configurable from 40 cm to 5 meters.
Available tests:
- Distance and near visual acuity (letters, numbers, symbols, Snellen E)
- Contrast sensitivity
- Mesopic and twilight vision
- Glare sensitivity and recovery time
- Lens performance evaluation
- Low vision tests: reading speed and eccentric fixation localization
Patient management:
VisionPad includes a built-in patient archive with full visit records: refraction, visual acuity, tonometry, clinical notes, and over-time
progress charts.
Rehabilitation exercises:
Visual exercises can be prescribed and transferred to the VisionHT app via Bluetooth or QR code. Results sync automatically at the
end of each session.
Remote control:
The VisionRemote iPhone app lets the operator control VisionPad from a distance.
