It doesn’t play videos at all

The app always gave me a message that it couldn’t play videos even after signing in to YouTube. I tried resetting the AVP and reinstalling the app several times and that didn’t help. This was a complete waste of money and I want a refund.

If this app was for free, I would give it a four stars but since it’s paid and I keep signing me out, I do not like it and I just want to erase it from my Vision Pro I do not recommend buying this. Please do not buy it you have to in and I have to go through a two-step verification. It is not a worth it

Keep losing the sign in

The app keeps losing the sign in information to YouTube, so it’s very cumbersome to always re-sign in to get to view the videos.

Very annoying weakness

Very annoying that this app makes you login constantly. Also, there are typos in the user interface and the selection is constantly looping in the home screen.

Needs Retro Youtube/Brand Account Support

I really like this UI, and I have been itching to watch offline videos when I'm traveling. However, I have an old YouTube account that was transitioned into a "Brand Account," and I don't have a way to move it to a regular Google Account. When logging in with Google, I have always had the opportunity to select the brand account from the drop-down menu, but the login interface here doesn't give me that option. Until this is fixed, I'm unfortunately unable to use it 😞

Can’t watch offline videos when offline

I bought this app so I can watch offline videos on a plane but when I open the app it says it needs online access and no other options to navigate to the offline videos.

Also a resolution option is a must

Love this app

Bought it when it first came out. I reached out to the dev with a few feedback and he responded to me immediately. Surely, the app has been improving at a steady pace. Performance is better, and watch history also synced with YouTube. The only 2 things are missing are viewing my subscribed channels and auto-play the next video. BTW, I also love how this app uses the spatial design.

Presents same videos over and over again

Whether you use the default scrolling video list or a scan
 specific to your request, the same videos are repeated over and over in the scrolling list of videos.

Download button broken - VR Videos

Besides the download button, VR videos show one image on top of the other.

Affordable, ad-free, but needs additional functions

I’m happy to continue using VisionTube. It gets the job done and being ad free is a great bonus. My only wish is that it continues to see updates to include bug fixes and foundational functionality for YouTube like editing my watch later playlist or seeing my subscription videos on a tab. The app does seem to load a bit slowly as well for my personal playlist page.

There are a few bugs that make the experience a bit finicky. When exiting a video I have to go back to the main screen vs remaining in my playlist. I would also love to see video speed control or subtitles etc. But for a day 1 app, ad free is a huge win!

Buttons floating over the video window don’t go away, they’re distracting

The buttons for suggested videos and comments and time bar cover the video even when collapsed. When they’re open they cover the video edges which is quite distracting. Otherwise the layout is very nice. I like that you can see the comments and the video title and description. Just wish it didn’t cover the video. Would be nice if you could open multiple videos at the same time. That could be a big differentiator over the other YouTube app on here.

Takes advantage of 3d space and has comments

Better interface design than Juno, but the search bar only works when you use an autocomplete suggestion. I like this one better than Juno.
