Welcome to COVARRUBIAS, and to its magnificent COLLEGIATE MUSEUM of Saints Cosmas and Damian. The Collegiate Museum of Saints Cosmas and Damian is a Gothic building with three elegantly proportioned naves and a Latin cross floor plan. Inside, it houses magnificent artworks, beautiful altarpieces, and tombs — especially that of Fernán González, the first Count of Castile. In its 16th-century cloister lies the splendid Museum, home to the famous Triptych of the Epiphany. Alongside it, visitors can admire Flemish works and liturgical treasures from the parish itself and from the nearby church of Santo Tomás.
