A way of making Math real to Beginners
I really like the simple design. My daughter was getting interested in addition, but didn’t really understand it, using Montessori beads she could add one bead correctly. But would get off track going higher.
Doing the visual math with her really helped her add things together.
I don’t think it's an app to get repetition, aka practice, since it doesn’t generate new problems or allow you as a parent to add your own - that would be a great update.
But it’s nice to have the drawings of real things and be able to write and draw yourself.

A good maths app
A very good maths app. My son loves using it. Easy to use and helps my son learn how to solve word-type mathematics problem.
This is a Great Little Maths Education App
This is a great little Maths education app. I got this for my 7 years old son after reading the iheartthisapp review.
It teaches 'Word Maths' problems from Basic level to more Advanced level.
My son uses this app and it is easy to use even without supervision. As the other reviewer said 'Its literally Maths made easy'.
For our local NSW syllabus, it would be suitable for children starting from Kindergarten up to Year 3.
The sketch tool in this app is very useful. My son can write the steps and answers on the screen before clicking the final answer. As for me, it is useful for me to demonstrate to him on how to solve the problem by writing on the app itself.
I am actually surprise that my son will pick up my iPad and start using this maths app even without me telling him to do so, instead of just playing games. So I guess he is finding it fun to use.
As a parent, I think the one of the strong point of this maths app is the quiz which is included in this purchase. It is very comprehensive and helps my son reinforce his understanding of principles of Word Maths problem.
Definitely worth the price and it is much cheaper than those Excel workbooks which we buy here in Sydney. Recommend.

This app only covers addition and it's very limited. It has only a half an hour of easy material
