Truly love this app so much. I have such a short attention span and get confused so easily and had no issues with either of them using this app. Something I love is their mini games are fun but also actually really good and not pointless like a lot of other apps are. Such an effective and easy app and anyone could use it. Truly helped me with piano and I couldn’t use any other app now to learn. Thank you so much!

I’m just starting out
I’ve always wanted to learn piano. I found this app and love the way it teaches notes and scales visually. Makes it really easy to remember! Looking forward to progressing.
Phenomenal app - music theory just became fun!
This app has evidently been thought through with such great innovation and dedication. Using visual and fun analogies (e.g. crocodiles and forks) it makes music theory, a large and complex subject, much more processable and great for learners with neurodivergence. As someone with ADHD I find large text and information often overwhelming and makes me procrastinate my learning. With visual scales I have been able to take in theory knowledge much better than any previous attempts. What I think helps is the text being provided gradually and the buttons to continue being timed, to ensure the reader has read (and processed!) the information. This app allows you to learn at your own pace, in a fun and gamified way! Absolutely fantastic! 5/5 all the way

Fantastic
As a complete beginner learning piano, I’ve found Visual Scales to be a really helpful addition to my practice. I’m very much a visual learner, so the way the app shows scales and patterns visually has made it much easier for me to understand what I’m playing rather than just memorising notes.
What I like most is that it feels like it grows with you. The different levels of learning mean I can start simple and gradually build my confidence instead of feeling overwhelmed. The arcade mode is also a fun way to practise and makes repeating scales feel less like a chore and more like a challenge.
I’m still at the early stages of learning piano, but Visual Scales has helped me recognise patterns, improve my understanding of the keyboard, and stay motivated to keep practising. It’s a great tool for beginners who learn best by seeing things in action.
One thing I’d love to see in future updates is improved support for larger screens, especially iPads and tablets. As someone who learns visually, having the extra screen space would make the scales, patterns, and practice modes even easier to follow. A dedicated tablet view would be a really nice addition when you have the chance.
