Can’t even download a copy of your own resume, this $#!+ is hilarious. It used to be ok at best back in the day, now it’s straight garbage.

Having issues after update
I am having issues to use this after update. Can’t login says not authorized to login and then somehow I did but was still crashing so many times! This was so useful to me and needed😞

U cannot make a free resume. There is a watermark stamp. Which can be only removed once you buy subscription.

I felt strongly that a more contemporary review was called for, since most are several years old. Yet for some reason posting of mine seems delayed. Originally posted 7/3/22, current edited version 7/5/2022.
This app is an extremely effective and easy way to find out how gullible you are. To begin your personal gullibility assessment, simply download and try it. After you see that any potentially useful functions require a significant recurring fee, decide whether or not to pay. With this decision, you’ve clearly demonstrated gullibility or lack thereof. Congratulations!
p.s.– If: your great aptitude at addressing guile needs no affirmation; you’re almost always agreeable, a bit naïve by nature, but avoid ancient nefarious apps; &/or you’re unwilling to contribute to the developers’ supplemental income scheme (which ensures profitable revenue stream by bare minimum investment in all aspects), just skip directly to ignoring & forgetting about this app forever. No longer able to download a pdf of my resume?!?
This app/platform was minimally useful at best. But recent updates no longer allow you to download even a single pdf of your resume without paying an absurd $18 a month. Do yourselves a favor skip it.
Scam and misleading
Outside it is shown as no in app purchases and after some time, it just says things cannot be edited in mobile app and connects to web app and asks for subscription

I created my Resume through Visual CV, have been getting so many more calls from companies than before. People are generally impressed with my Resume and I’m super satisfied with Visual CV :)

I have been using using visualcv for over 6 months and it is the best in app store.
Nightmare
Found the app a bit of a nightmare to operate. Can’t select text and empty some boxes. Gave up trying fiddle around with it in 5 minutes.
Works great, just one request
This app works very nicely, keeps track of both resume and cover letters when needed. The only gotcha I seem to run into is that the PDF generated is A4 (European size) not “Letter” (8.5” x 11”) that’s used in NorthAmerica, guess it makes sense for a CV but I wish there was a way to change it in the app or on the site as it makes the print a bit odd when they print your resume on Letter.

Good but needs to fix pagination in PDF
The CV looks good on web. But the tool isn't able to do proper pagination and margin setting to ensure the resume are properly placed in pdf. That'a a bummer and not suitable to be used for offline resume tool. More effort is needed from the Developers to make this software great too for resume building.

I use it for all my resumes now. I prefer editing on desktop but the app is nice if I need to make a quick tweak
