I am getting an error message that the sever is not available try later. I have never been able to log in. What is the problem

I have been trying to link my Samsung active to my discovery vitality. I have tried to download this vitality App and I received a email to link my account but when I try log in using my discovery log in details it just says user name incorrect? I have tried to link my device through the discovery app and it just brings up a error page. So many brick walls to hit your head on.
