Very good for bass

This is the best tuner I’ve found, especially for bass. It’s very sensitive, and will distinguish low strings, whereas most tuners have a very difficult time registering a low E or B string clearly.

Stopped Working!

This app was my favorite tuner until it stopped working. The app has a link to reach the developer but that doesn't work either!

No support

I purchased this product (full upgraded Pro version) because of the high ratings. I can only assume these are fabricated since there is no online manual, no community website for sharing tips or use strategies and my email request for help has never been responded to. The app suggests tuning support for over a hundred instruments, yet I do not see piano or harpsichord. Willing to admit I may be incorrectly using app, but without any means of support, I am in the dark. I do not recommend.

It beats very expensive hardware tuners in accuracy as well, which we've tested against extensively. We put a lot of research into our Temperaments feature, and VITALtuner comes with the most comprehensive list of temperaments you will find anywhere, over 120. These are all applicable to piano and harpsichord. To find them launch VITALtuner, go to Settings, Temperaments and select one from the categories of Pythagorean, Just, Meantone, Well and Quasi-Equal. You can create your own custom Offsets as well. VITALtuner also provides tuning assistance for stringed and wind instruments by showing you guide notes for 130 standard and alternate tunings spanning 40 instruments. Still the absolute best, period!

I’ve been playing guitar for about 20 years. Rock, jazz, blues, some country. I actually started playing classical guitar. Needless to say, I’ve used many tuners. BOSS, Korg, Peterson Strobostomp on my pedalboard, you name it I’ve probably owned it at one point. On my iPhone I’ve tried SO many tuner apps, paid and free, I can’t even count how many. The truth is (and any player who’s worth their salt will tell you the same) that none of them are any good. They’re not accurate and don’t track well. Until now that is! Seriously, this is the app I’ve been waiting for. It’s not only better than any app I’ve used, but it’s also way better than my expensive hardware tuners. AND has a ton of crazy features. Nothing comes close, just get it.

Good for different tunings.

Was able to tune easily to Open G. I find most other tuners won’t give you that. Only standard tuning.

Funktioniert super!

Hatte mit der Öffnung der CD App ein Problem. Doch es gibt ein sehr gutes Team, welches bei der Problemlösung schnell und effizient geholfen hat. Die App ist so umfangreich, dass ich sicherlich immer alle Aufgaben erledigen kann.

Was ist mit Cembalostimmungen?

Wegen der Ankündigung vier (was schon nicht viel ist) Stimmungen anzuzeigen, habe ich die Proversion geladen. Leider kann ich aber weder ein Klavier noch ein Kielinstrument als Klangerzeuger angeben - erst recht kann ich keine Stimmung ausprobieren.
Da ich dazu die App erworben hatte, ist sie für mich im Moment wertlos.

Alles funktioniert prima und zuverlässig. Ich würde mir noch nach oben und unten im messbaren Tonbereich noch mehr Töne wünschen.

Not good as promised

VITALtuner pro is really good but you can’t add it to any of your other equipments (as they promise you can, total of 4 equipments). I tried many times, ends up charging me another $4.99.

I don’t understand all of the bad reviews this tuner is great I’m using the free version what more do you want? It has an awesome look simple to use and very accurate thank you to the developer
