What's New in Vitaspan
1.5
October 27, 2026
• New: Simple view. Big buttons and one screen with what matters each day: today's medicines with a big Taken button and the pill's photo, your next appointment with Call and Directions, your readings, and a health card to show a doctor. Reminders say what to take and when, in plain words, with Taken and Later right on the Lock Screen, and can be read out loud. For anyone who wants less on screen, it also works with Assistive Access, and the full app is one tap away. • New: family. Look after a parent's or a child's health in your own app, kept apart from yours. Share a profile with family, end-to-end encrypted, and set up a parent's own phone in Simple view from yours. Hear when a dose isn't logged in time, and see I'm OK today when they tap it. It isn't an emergency service. • Today, your day in one place: what's next, your plan, what changed in your results, today's medications, water and your fast. New users choose what they need and get the tabs for it, and Ask is a button on every tab. • Labs to ask for: one list for your next visit, each test with its reason and source, from your age, history, medications and last results, with a request sheet to print or send, and where to get tested and who pays. • What changed: your results since your last visit, your last blood draw or last week, against the lab's own ranges, with the medications you started, changed or stopped. • Bring your labs: add the PDF from your lab or a lab-testing service, and its results join your charts. • Blood age and a 10-year heart risk estimate (the PREVENT equations) in Longevity: research estimates from your routine tests, with what lowers the risk most. • What to do next, in Longevity: what's due first, then the changes linked with the most years of Vitaspan Age, then what to measure. • Your plan: everything to do next, one card per health topic, most important first; mark what you've discussed with your doctor. Your week: what changed, what's due and what's slipping, on Today and in a weekly notification that only says how many. • Medication help: a follow-up when a dose isn't logged, a heads-up before you run out, a better reminder time when doses slip, and when to take it, quoted from the FDA label, never a dose. Type the brand, and its generic name is suggested. • Record a visit, with everyone in the room agreeing: it's turned into text on your iPhone, then into medications, follow-ups and the next appointment for you to check. The audio stays on your iPhone. • Share my questions: one page for a visit with its day, time and place, your medications, allergies and conditions, and every open question with a box to tick: the agenda, a procedure's prep, your own and your to-dos. Send it as a PDF or a doctor link, in English or Spanish. • Consolidate questions: Claude combines a visit's questions that ask the same thing, you check each one, and the combined question then shows once in every list. Without Vitaspan Plus, Apple Intelligence can do it on your iPhone. • Follow-ups after every visit, and a secure link to your medical summary for your doctor that expires on its own. • Health programs: blood pressure, glucose, women's health and bone health. Add a reading in the full app: blood pressure, weight and blood sugar, saved in Vitaspan and, if you allow it, in Apple Health. In Longevity, type in lab results, resting heart rate and VO2 max. • Meals from food apps that save to Apple Health now count in Nutrition, never twice. • Accessibility: clearer VoiceOver and Voice Control, text that grows to the largest sizes, bigger buttons to tap, and Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast respected. • Times follow your iPhone's 12- or 24-hour setting. • Before iOS asks for a permission, one plain screen says why, and Continue opens iOS's own choice. • Redeem a code for Vitaspan Plus in Settings → Account and plan. • Everything that runs on your iPhone is free, including summaries Apple Intelligence writes on it; Claude's answers come with Vitaspan Plus.
