When I first bought the camera it worked fine but now the app won’t connect to the app even though they’re on the same Wi-Fi network.

No matter how many times I redo all the steps it will not connect and nothing has worked
Doesn’t work on current iOS
Bough this cam in 2022. The App Cannot connect to camera on phone running iOS 16 (current version). After joining the cam wifi network, this app complains wifi is disabled when trying to connect (it isn’t). On a whim booted up my old iPhone 6, that hasn’t been updated for years and it works. Which is useless because that’s not my actual phone. Returned the camera.

Ok I have been looking for apps for my new vivitar camrea and right when I was gonna give up I found this app it worked just fine hooker right up to my phone but u can not use 4K because it freezes once u download it but in 1080p it worked just great and the video quality was Awsome this app really makes the camrea show it’s worth highly recommended

I bought the camera near the end of June 2020. The app has never worked right.
The first time I loaded this app and tried to use it, nothing worked. I kept getting an “incorrect wifi password” message.
iOS updated so I decided to try again.
It connected to the camera and all was well...until I tried to watch a video. It would play for about 5 seconds the stop. Grrrr... Also, my phone didn’t show a wifi connection but LTE instead.
Checked wifi, all good. Relaunch app, connect to camera and...phone freezes. I couldn’t do ANYTHING. It eventually went to lock screen and I was able to get back onto the phone.
Not sure what the hell is going on, but I’m once again uninstalling this app. Maybe I’ll try again in a couple more weeks.

Apps doesn’t load
So I was on the app and I was happy to watch the videos I took and it keeps freezing and not playing the videos. The screen stays frozen but you could hear everything please please please fix thisssss!!

Works great for me. Using an iPhone 6s just make sure u connect to the cameras WiFi. On your phone.
