The worst app I have ever used!
Tried using this app a number of times over the years. It comes back with error messages which you have no idea what error you encountered. I don’t know how anyone uses this app on a regular basis.
Terrible
You have to try create multiple “accounts” to setup a device. App will only let you make the first 2 “groups.” Limited to no support. I’m returning all equipment, Home Security is too important to trust this company.

App Just Completely Doesn’t Work
First off it doesn’t have my model of plug listed. Second you have to create an account to set it up, you make the account and try to sign in and it just gives a server error over and over. Luckily someone gave me this smart plug, but it unfortunately is going in the trash.

The app is good
I read a bunch of reviews saying how bad the app is. And honestly it’s not bad. I had 0 problem adding a device. It took maybe 3 mins at the most. Super handy outdoor plug for Christmas lights.
No longer works as it once did
Just in recent days, this device stopped sending noise/movement detection notifications. This has worked well for years-now I use it to monitor my puppy and it no longer works to my needs. No update available, restarting, adjusting settings, and resetting device nothing has worked. Dissapointed,

Piece of junk
The app wouldn’t let me create an account to add a device. Only got the spinning mode. Called tech support, he said that shouldn’t happen. Told me to uninstall the app, reinstall the app and wait one hour (???). I tried that three times. (I know, the definition of crazy). So I deleted the app and will return the water leak sensor. Then I’ll buy the Feit Electric sensor. I have a number of their devices and they all work flawlessly, including initial setup. Vivitar isn’t ready for prime time.

If you detect motion but dont show the motion, whats the purpose? Ate you just a lookey lou?

Waste of Time
This was a great idea marred by cheapness. Whoever designed this app was clearly not paid to do so. Once you pair a device, it does not let you do anything with it. It just spins away, never actually letting you make any device settings. I purchased the waterproof outlet with the simple objective of turning my lights on from inside my house, and the app would not even let me do that one thing. Do not waste your time with this. Your time is valuable and worth more than this frustration.
