No update available
Complete waste of money and time to buy any product from Vivitar that must operate through this app and possibly any app under the Vivitar name. Says upgrade is needed to proceed with setup but one isn't available.

The only lights that have failed to work. Stopped working. Quit responding. And have an APP that says download new SPP for support but still fail. Bad. Bad. Bad company.

DO NOT BUY!! This device serves absolutely no purpose if you have up to date electrical outlets in your home. When creating your Vivitar account for set up to link the device to your WiFi and phone, There’s no update that the app calls for before you can move on to complete the install to use the smart plug… and you won’t get any further than that. I don’t understand how Vivitar hasn’t corrected this. Horrible & useless product.

I can’t use the app or smart plug because it requires an update according to the app yet no update is available for the app. I will not be making anymore purchases from Vivitar.

It doesn’t work, every time I get it figured out the bulb goes on the blink and decides to have a rave, flashing away like a village wrong ‘un.

Looks like I wasted my money buying a bulb that is supposed to connect with this app. Hope you kept your receipt..

Most of the time it’s fine, but when it starts having problems...they are a MAJOR pain! Hard to expand the number of cameras!!
