Widget isn’t working

Thanks for letting us know, and we’re glad you’re enjoying the app so far! We recently released an update with new widgets, which may have affected widgets that were already on your screen. Could you try removing the widget from your Home Screen and adding it again? It definitely shouldn’t be showing a blank white screen. If it’s still blank after adding it back, please reach out to us and let us know. We’ll look into it and help get it working.
Made up words

Thanks for bringing this up. We checked our library and found only three words coined by John Koenig. For each of them, we clearly note the origin in the etymology - “coined by John Koenig for The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows” - so they can be distinguished from established English vocabulary. You can view the etymology for any word in the app by tapping “Learn More.” We take the quality and accuracy of our vocabulary very seriously. Our content team regularly reviews the library, verifies words, and adds new ones to keep it accurate, relevant, and interesting. We really appreciate your attention to detail and taking the time to share this feedback with us.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! Just to clarify for anyone considering the app: all of our vocabulary words are available to explore and learn for free. A subscription is only needed for additional Premium features. We’d also genuinely love to know what you were hoping to find in the app or what would make the experience more valuable for you. We’re always listening and using feedback like this to make Vocabulary Builder better.
