Fantastic free app
Great, completely free app for broadening English vocabulary. Supports multiple languages, provides a variety of bite-sized training lessons, and lets you choose the words you study. Learned a lot in the few days I’ve had this app. Simple interface. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their vocabulary.

Not For Young Children
There are games and the first one I picked was to guess if the word matched the definition. I read the definition and it was as follows “flogging either for religious discipline or sexual gratification”. Seriously? Of all the words and definitions you need to go there? What if young kids decide to download this app? I know our American culture looks at this definition as everyday stuff but it isn’t. It’s off putting and quite frankly disgusting. I came here to learn and realized that going to your app for learning was a waste of time.

Hello! I’m sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with the app. There are thousands of different words in our online database. I’ll think about how to mark these definitions in order for kids not to see them :)
