Does what it says but…

This app has no formant control so harmonies sound unnatural. Beware before buying.

I don’t understand the point

The sound is very over processed, it doesn’t seem you can use just auto tune function alone.

App works but not feasible for live

It would be completely awesome if this could replace using a harmonizer box on stage…but the only place else I found unusable latency was with Bluetooth MIDI. Where it could work would be if you sang a very slow song…the features aren’t as good as a $200 tc-helicon box…but I could see a future where this kind of thing would be used

Wont work

It crashes on Logic Pro (iPad) not happy

Cool but crashes

Cool but crashes in Logic Pro

Another one that doesn’t work.

If you’ve got the latest IOS this won’t work.

Not working on IOS

IPhone 11 updated to most recent version. Using garage band.

i currently cannot use the plug-in. I have a EW plug-in from you guys (fantastic plug-in and enhancing my vocals sooooo much) so I know how to use AUv3’s. Both my delay and phasers are also AUv3’s. When I go to put on the plug-in, it isn’t there. I can see my “VisualEQConsole” plug-in but not this plug-in. I

A useful addition

This app, as innovative as all 4Pockets products, allows for subtle or not so subtle alterations, and is best on lead vocals. It works fine with AUM, Cubasis and aPeMatrix. Enormous fun to use, and very versatile.

Need help

How can i use this with cubasis please help

Useless

I didn’t find this plugin very useful and unfortunately bought as a bundle with two other useless apps I never use (de-esser and exciter). Waves Tune Real Time is infinitely better vocal plugin.

Too much latency

Unusable because of latency, otherwise would be great but it’s not, I use a new iPad Pro optimized, tried adjusting the latency within my DAW (Quantiloop), tried lowering the setting in the app, nothing stops the huge latency, caused problems on my gig, developer pls address this issue.

Track lag in GarageBand

This app is unusable in GarageBand. Why is it not compatible with GB but many of your other apps are.

So disappointed

It cause the vocals to lag so bad I was really hoping this would work I love how the auto tune works but it makes everything lag so bad 😕 please fix

Causes track lag

First off, I had no problems opening this plugin on both my iPhone 11 Pro Max or my iPad. The effects work as advertised. The problem I am having is that adding even the slightest amount of effect (whether auto tune, doubling or reverb) causes the entire vocal track to lag significantly. This is especially problematic because it causes my vocal tracks to lose sync with the remainder of my recording. I’ve tweaked every setting, tried keeping the effect levels low and used the app’s lower processing power setting, and nothing seems to help. It continues to cause lag. Very disappointing for what looked to be a promising plugin.

Response from developer

Can I ask which DAW you are using? This effect is to had hamonies to vocals, so you shouldn't have the MIX up full or use this as a pitch shifter. There are other options for pitch shifting. If using GarageBand then I might be able to explain the issue. Some GB instruments are very low sample rate (22KHz) which exagerates the 30-50ms processing delay. When running under Cubasis/AUM or similar app the sample rate will be 48KHz which reduces the latency dramatically.

Fit for purpose

I’m a fan of the 4 Pockets range , for many sonic situations they are my go to apps. Some such as this app and the unique multitrack audio recorder , I find, are game changers and indispensable for my music production in the Auv3 environment.

Problems

I know you say you can use this in iOS GarageBand. It does not show under any name, soloist or harmonized fx. I have rebooted my iOS 13.5 iPad Pro twice and I do not see Harmonizer or Soloist fx anywhere either under effects or instruments or audio units. Please help. I don’t want to have to ask for my money back. If you can give me a step by step. It would be appreciated.

Response from developer

Please checkout the following explanation of how to load AUv3 plugins in GarageBand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2o-THwOnFY&t=1s If you still don't see the plugin appear try re-installing. It does work fine in GarageBand so long as you are running iOS11 or later.

Does not work

Purchased the bundle and rebooted iPad (2018 6th gen MR7K2B/A)

GarageBand does not see the any of the three bundled apps in either AU or inter app list.

How do I log a refund request?

Excellent Change in sound

Bought it and loved it. Still new to this music production so forgive me If the answer to this is obvious but I’m confused . When I go to add plug in , there are two soloist and harmonizer. But they both seem to be the same . What is the difference

Response from developer

There is actually no difference. We were forced to change the name of the app and to avoid confusing existing users I allowed it to be added using both options. After the name change people were struggling to find it in the list of plugins hence the two names. Sorry for the confusion.

Worst buy ever

It doesn’t work on garage band
It doesn’t appear on any plugins
Don’t loos your money here I was expecting so much from this app

Response from developer

Seriously, your doing something wrong. Please check my YouTube channel 'Paul the MusicMan' to find out how to use this plugin and how to load it in GarageBand. It alway seems to be GarageBand users that struggle. Why is this? Read the reviews, other people see it working in GarageBand just fine. Try rebooting your device, this causes the plugins to re-register. On occasions this can happen with AUv3 plugins.

App Works, Even in GarageBand

Love the app. Works great.
To those saying it doesn’t work in GarageBand or Cubasis, you have to load it differently. Rather than the Usual Interapp audio or audio unit extension, it loads more like a native effect or EQ.

So load a mic track, but don’t bother clicking the (in) symbol as you would with other interapp sources. Instead click the Effect slider button next to your track button at the top left. Then go down to Plug-ins and EQ. Click edit. You may have to remove another effect, but in the empty slot click the plus symbol, then you select audio unit extensions, then finally Harmonizer Fx will show up. Once its loaded, be sure to enable it, then simply double click to engage it.

Enjoy. Thanks for the Excellent Vocal Processor!
