Vocal Toner

Vocal Toner is a practical voice-training app for vocal toning, harmonic awareness, interval practice, and relative pitch development. See live feedback on the 3D or 2D oscilloscopes, allowing you to visualise and tune your voice's fundamental pitch, harmonic spectrum, overtone balance, and vocal coherence as you sing. The app is designed to help anybody with a voice to refine pitch stability, explore vocal resonance and understand how their voice behaves in real time. Vocal Toning / Overtones includes: - A live 3D oscilloscope for visualizing vocal tone and overtone structure, based on the geometric vocal toning feedback practice developed by Xaetherya. - A simple harmonic feedback view showing the fundamental and overtone amplitudes to help you find the resonant nodes in your voice and refine the overtones. - A 2D oscilloscope view for more basic live waveform feedback - Overtone frequency readouts and harmonic alignment feedback - Recording, playback, clip analysis, .WAV saving/sharing, and clip loading - Adjustable input gain and input calibration for different voices and devices Kodály-style Interval, Scale & Relative Pitch Training includes: - Automatic Tonic Pitch detection (begin the exercise in any key – the practices are based purely on intervals, rather than locked into a specific Tonic/Key) - Modal scale and interval exercises based on the classical modes (check the info for each mode to discover it's unique character/mood and other information). - Curwen hand signs and solfege labels used in the exercises to assist with anchoring and memorising the correct intervals - Kodály style 2-note, 3-note, and 4-note interval training exercises to help entrain relative pitch/interval recognition - Scale exercises for melodic and modal practice - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced pitch difficulty settings for all levels of vocal experience - Adjustable note hold duration - Sample playback using pure sine tone The app also includes a Pythagorean tuned virtual piano tuned around A = 432 Hz, with interval identification for notes played in sequence. You can use this virtual piano to pitch a true Pythagorean frequency and then match it with your voice. Vocal Toner does not require an account and values your privacy. No data is tracked or shared.
