Vocomi

Vocomi is a vocabulary learning app with comics, example sentences, spoken examples and short review sessions. For each word, you get several comics and sentences that show how the word is used. Then you practice with multiple-choice questions, dictation tasks, fill-in-the-blanks and spaced repetition with FSRS. Start with ready-made vocabulary packs for Japanese, German, Korean, French and Spanish: A1–B1, JLPT N5–N4 and TOPIK. You can also create your own packs for any language or for other things you want to learn. Vocomi can create personal vocabulary lists from WhatsApp, LINE, CSV files or voice input. Japanese has a few special features. For example, furigana can appear when you tilt the device, and kanji stroke order is animated. Vocomi is ad-free, works completely offline and collects no personal data. The app is funded by user donations and built by people who struggle with vocabulary themselves.
