Good but issue with hearing aids Bluetooth

Works well except major issue with my hearing aids connected through Bluetooth. Every other all and iPhone phone apps works great with hearing aids except this one. People can hear me fine but extreme distortion when listening. I have to disable Bluetooth and listen through phone in order to hear properly.

can’t call from contacts app

When can I call from my contacts App again?

Constantly crashing iphone 12

This week has been awful. I admin this system for 10,000 people, and I can't fix my own app.

Customer love it!

Very reliable app and easy to use. My customer love it, Easy QR code provision.

Need improvement

The phone quality is very poor at times and conference calling needs major improvement

Call quality

I do like being able to see who is available internally for a phone call. But the call quality when calling through the phone app is not great.

Response from developer

It's actually not so easy to figure out who is actually available, given the fact that users can use their mobile apps and the PBX wakes them up when needed (or not). Also for desktop phones showing the registration status is usually useless because they are always registered. As for call quality, when both ends are using the same codec (especially OPUS), the call quality should be pretty good. Call quality goes down when the PBX has to translate the codecs, e.g. when one side is using OPUS and the other one is using G.722 the quality indeed suffers significantly. The transition from app-world into the PSTN-world is specifically difficult.

Very impressive

The Vodia app is my daily go to for all my communications needs. Whether I am calling locally, internationally, my Vodia app covers it all.

Resuming call problem

It was working fine but with the new update, I can’t resume calls that I’ve put on hold. Very inconvenient and annoying as I have to hang up and call again.

Bad connections

My phone calls cut in and out and people say they are not able to hear me. this only happens when using the app not regular phone calls through my phone.

Response from developer

The app depends on the internet protocol (VoIP = voice over internet protocol), while regular phone calls are done using switched networks. If the internet is bad, it will be hard to have a regular conversation.

Super App

Ich nutze die App jeden Tag und Sie funktioniert super.

Use to work

App you to work great. Now when I use it from my mobile and call the office, they can hear me but I can’t hear them. When I try and swap speaker modes, I can hear the other side for a brief second then can’t again.
Would love to know why it’s doing this! Maybe the app needs updating

This app is crap

I hate this app. The QR codes never work.

Response from developer

That's not a problem of the app, it's a problem with the setup of the PBX. The PBX needs to run on an address that can be reached through a secure connection, otherwise there is no way for the app to get register.

Home Office

Ich verwende die App oft im Home Office mit meinem Headset. Dann kann ich sogar von meinem Garten aus arbeiten und gleichzeitig das Unkraut jäten, was vor allem bei längeren Gesprächen sehr hilfreich ist.

distorted

volume is far too loud compared to regular phone app. speaker is distorted and constant adjustment of volume is needed when switching between use of the regular phone app and this app. has no option for internal vomule control. Every user at my organization has this same issue.

Anywhere

I can finally work from anywhere I like and where there’s Internet. No need to give out my private cell phone number anymore.

Geht überall

Das beste an der App ist dass man wirklich von überall aus telefonieren kann ohne seine private Handynummer raus geben zu müssen.

Can’t change presence in the app

Still testing it but not liking the fact that one cannot change presence Available/Away status from the App. There is a way to set DND status but no ability to manage presence. Is this something users can expect soon?

Response from developer

Presence is a long story. For example, what is the presence state if you are on a call, and what if you are on DND. Our experience is that users don't want to spend much time on "programming" their presence state and they just want a quick DND button, especially on a mobile device. Because of this we have "rich" DND where you can specify a duration and a reason with the DND like "break", "holiday", or something on your own. On the iOS app we did not include the reason because the pop-up is already pretty big with all the possible durations and the dialog would become huge. We believe that the duration of DND is very important because users tend to forget to turn it off and then miss calls for days... With all that we have to keep in mind that we are still talking about a mobile app. Maybe the easiest solution would be a simple button that logs the user into the web interface on the browser, where all bells and whistles are available.

Issues

Just wanted to make you aware that when you place a call on hold or mute a call when using the app that call doesn’t work any more. I have to call the customer back every time the transfer feature doesn’t work either. And I receive clients text messages but they don’t receive mine.

Response from developer

ACK. We'll address that with the next version 1.13. Mute should be working though. As for SMS, please check if you can text properly other extensions e.g. on their web front end. The problem might be the SMS provider.

Apps great

App works perfect, would be nice to see transfers tweaked so you can scroll through the list of staff to pick them instead of typing an extension number, but other wise provides a great tool to make and take calls as your desk phone from the mobile. I have not had audio issues, if your systems are setup right with regards to NAT and ALG you should be fine.

Drops in a out

Terrible quality of calls. App drops out and clients can’t get through. App just goes blank. Put someone on hold the other day looked like it had dropped the call back the customer was in fact on hold for 30mins and we didn’t know!
