great app, easy way to keep a diary
i absolutely love this app, a very simple easy way to store memories.
Terrible app
I had this years ago then in the past year and a half it stopped allowing you to save entries. They say button no longer works. Piece of junk don’t even bother.
Backup functionality doesn’t work with different devices
I found the app good until recently when I tried to migrate my old diaries to a different device. Even after paying for a year backup subscription, I still couldn’t transfer my files to another device.
I’ve also seen similar reviews so I hope something gets done in subsequent updates.

great app, terrible backup
i absolutely love this app, a very simple easy way to store memories. but i forgot my pin code recently and now i’m locked out, with no way to reset the password!
Memories lost
I used this app frequently for months, but I forgot the password and was not able to get back in, with no options to reset or retrieve my password.
Colour scheme
It’s a small thing but the colour scheme makes the AI voice 2 text writing really hard to see and read. Other than that it’s a great idea to be able to speak into the diary and have the written transcript as well as your audio stored.
I love it!
Easy to use, have tags, I record a lot of impromptu conversations for work purposes. Helpful!!
Old VN are gone
I’m a bit sad, I used this as a way of venting and coping with a lot of my personal trauma, and once I started getting better I deleted it, recently I started feeling a bit down again so I downloaded it in hopes record new voice notes but also to see my old voice notes but they are all gone and I can’t get them back :/

Doesn’t work well wouldn’t use
I was going to use this document every single day of my life in school. The problem is you can’t delete anything or edit your recordings not only that but the way it is made doesn’t work well with what is trying to help you with and The app is filled with grammatical errors and fake warnings. it works with what it does, but I still wouldn’t use it let alone pay full price

I’m so grateful for this app
I use this voice diary to clear my mind. I usually have so much to express that my hand gets sore from writing in a traditional diary, so using a voice diary instead has been so great for me. My mind feels even clearer than it does after writing because I’m using my voice as well which is an extra form of release.

Pretty good! Use this app all the time
I use this app probably a lot more then I should 😂 It’s very therapeutic being able to talk about anything that’s on my mind without worrying what people with think of me for it. I have an extremely hard time opening up to friends and family when things are wrong and this helps alleviate some of the stress that comes with that!
It’s very simply designed and easy to understand how everything works. To start a new recording you just press a button and can talk for as long as you want, there isn’t any time limits. Once you’re done, you can add flairs to recordings so it’s easier to differentiate which recording is which. For instance, I have flairs for things like specific people, when I’m spiralling, and self reflection. If I talk about my wife, I add her flair so if later I want to listen back to all the recordings that were about her it’s easy to find them.
I do wish that you could organise certain rants by the flairs you give them, similarly to how photos on phones are set up. How in your camera roll you have all your pictures lined up, but you can also add them to albums that separate them from other photo’s. Just a feature I wish was added, it would help everything feel a bit more neat and personalised.
I also wish that you could delete a recording once you save it. I have a few recordings that I don’t want taking up space but I can’t get rid of them, or at least I can’t figure out how. If there is a feature that lets you delete saved recordings then I must be an idiot because I feel like I have checked everything 😅

where are my notes
i wnat to see my audio diaries where did they go
This APP just stop Playing my recorded voice diary!!!!!!!!
I recorded over 200 hundred. Now all of a sudden they don’t play no more but it still show it’s there. What kind of cramp is that. All my audio DONT PLAY. I see no updated to update the app or nothing. I’m highly upset and piss off. All my diary entry i recorded mean alot to me. I push play and it doesn’t play. I try resetting my phone and it doesn’t play. I need answers.

Great App
This is a cool and lightweight App that organizes my voice recordings and it has a speech recognition feature. I very well recommend it!
Useful App
I was looking for such an interface. simlpe and easy to use. I am not able to delete any saved recordings on MAcbook pro
Needs Work
For me to be paying for this app and recording my voice and it stop recording for absolutely no reason is bs seriously you guys need to fix this bug because it’s unacceptable
Almost everything I need.
Voicing things instead of writing things has become more important to me. I’ve felt the former to be more meaningful and effective. I would pay money for the options to record longer clips and be able to change speed settings when I replay clips. AI speech recognition is a great component and I give mad props to the creator for adding it as I wasn’t expecting an audio diary app to foresee my need for it. However, for some reason, it stops transcribing maybe 20-30 seconds before the 2 minutes are up. I am therefore missing about 20-30 seconds of transcription despite the audio recording upon playback being a full 2 minutes.

Great app Jane!! Thanks for adding speech to text support! I will def buy the 12 months premium but there is a glitch. iOS when I lock my phone it stops recording in the background. I should be able to lock my phone while it records! Also export speech to text to word doc or .txt file please.

Update to review: I took a while off from using diaries, and came back trying to sign in with what I’ve always used as my passcode for this diary. I contacted support and was told due to privacy and convenience they cannot help me. This was a huge flaw for me...many platforms create a way to reset your password. This needs to happen on this app and if it can’t, not for me anymore!!!
I use this app every single day sometimes multiple times a day to record myself as if I'm writing in her diary... it really helps to get things off my mind and feels like I'm talking to someone because I'm being recorded, very therapeutic.
