Lap word trouble
The speech recognition works good for “start”, “stop”, and “reset” BUT does not recognize “LAP” very well especially when you’re breathing hard. I tried yelling, high voice, low voice, different emphasis on the letters. It’s just terribly inconsistent so it doesn’t work to use the lap function to count reps. It works ok if you’re just sitting there staring at the phone but in use during exercise it’s not good.

It’s easy to use and works great.
To set lap, just say lap.
The subsequent laps should be around the same time as the first or more.
I believe it’s a a safety check to ensure you don’t accidentally say lap prematurely.
I seems to understand that you normally don’t do a subsequent lap in a significant less time than the previous.
