I use this app on iPhone 5s since 2016 and I love it so mush but unfortunately I can’t use it any more and get updates
Does not work at all- Closes at start up, every single time
Latest iPhone latest update... the app itself won't even fully start up before force closing
Almost Full Featured
This app does so much for audio recording. In my opinion, there’s not a more fully-featured app for the iPhone/iPad out there. Four stars due to two functional misses: rotation when phone 180 degrees (usb-c facing upward with the Shure MV88 mic) and among all of the interfaces, the wifi downloading doesn’t work for webdav or browser.

iOS 26.x. This app crashes 100% of the time when finished and stopping a recording. There's no option to save or adjust anything when finished.

I cannot get this app to link to my Dropbox on my iPhone. Ever since I updated my iPhone to a new model. Help!
ALWAYS CRASHES
ZERO STARS! If you try ANY advanced edits…even a small 2 second removal of silence…this app now crashes every single time you try to save the edit.

1 star for no support. Also, none of the major cloud storage services failed to work. Hence, the app is useless for grown up jobs.
Great app, wish it had CarPlay support
I have been loving this app to play a loop of whatever songs I need to practice singing while driving. Unfortunately, lacking CarPlay support, if I adjust the volume in the car head unit, my podcast app starts to play along with VoiceRecord Pro 7. Very frustrating and hope it can be fixed.
BEST APP OUT THERE
Wow the world would be a better place if all developers were like this. It has features other voice recorders boast about but voice record. Pro 7 has had these features years before others.
Best app for musicians , I’d like maybe a merge 2 files or chapter marker options. But it’s probably tucked away in one of the many menus.

Lower quality voice recording
This app was good initially when I first got it a few years back, but I noticed since last year everytime I convert an mp4 to mp3 file the final recording has poor audio quality. Sounds like I recorded something from a 2000s nokia. Wish the quality was still good.

Paid £8.99 for this app and still getting ads. Says it all really.
Problem with export to google drive
After many years of successfully exporting files from voice record pro 7 to google drive, I am suddenly getting message saying
“This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your google account. To keep your account safe Google blocked this access.”
I have tried emailing VRP 7 developers but have no reply.
Please can you help?

Used to Be Great, But with 18.2, no longer usable, please update.
the advanced edit barely works now, and the app crashes often when saving after an edit.
The most useful app
I am very pleased by the functionality of this app. It is marvelous and performs much needed functions for working with audio on the ipad.

This app is so feature rich that I'm still finding new workflows with it years after first downloading it.
It's a must have if you would like to record, edit and share high quality audio on the move. It will even transcribe your audio into text.
Well done to the team that make it. Fantastic work.
The only downside is that i'm not sure if the 'sharing usage date with third parties' still applies if you have paid for the app.
I hope not, as enhanced privacy is something that journalists have to consider when protecting sources and stories.
