I just made exactly the same mistake. Cannot transcribe my files as I cannot transfer them and cannot upgrade the original version.

Decent app
Needs to be able to transcribe long form audio
Not an upgrade to Voice Recorder
I wanted to upgrade my existing Voice Recorder app to the ‘pro’ version so that I can transcribe my existing recordings. This is NOT an upgrade - it exists alongside my existing voice recorder app and there is no way to move files across from the basic version of the app to the ‘pro’ version so that I can transcribe them, therefore useless for my needs. The link to upgrade/subscribe within the basic voice recorder app to enable transcribing also doesn’t work, hence why I paid and downloaded the pro version from the App Store directly. Please fix these issues!!!!

Needs to be updated
This app, is actually worse than the free version.
It doesn't scale to 6.7 inch phones like the new iPhone 13, and it’s iCloud auto-upload service doesn't work. As it says “auto-upload is not available”.
It’s such a shame, as this app had promise to be better than voice memos.

Bad app. Transcribe doesn’t work! Misses a lot of words.
This is fraud!
1. The app is not compatible with screen size (iPhone 11 Pro Max).
2. The iCloud backup is not supported.
3. MP3 is not supported.
4. They want you to download Voice Recorder none premium app and pay monthly subscription fee and give you 21 app from the company by force.
5. It’s too bad that App Store does not have refund system.

Do not get this app because it crashes sometimes while you are recording please fix

Needs an update, but it works OK.

FANTASTIC APP
The Voice Recorder app, is exceptional. I couldn’t ask for a better recording app.

Good but has quirks
This app is simple to use but the big thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star rating is because is you have an incoming call it automatically stops the recorder which sort of defeats the purpose if you're needing it to keep recording.
Transcribes only the first 10 minutes
Purchased for the transcribing feature, only to learn it will only transcribe the first 10 minutes of a recording. Sure I could keep trimming the recording, but who wants to do that.
Also, the transcriber produces text which is not in the recording.
Wish the 10 minutes limitation was noted in the product description.

Transcribe
The transcribe spits out gibberish. It’s not even close to what was recorded.
Do not upgrade!
Do not upgrade to premium. I haven't been able to get anything transcribed. Would like to have my money back for the app.
Great first impression
I bought this app for only $1 more after paying for another much more basic voice recorder the day before. For only $1 more I get far more functionality than in my other voice recorder app purchase. I am already impressed at how well it works on my old iPhone 4 and am happy I could also download an older iPad version of this app. I get twice the bang for the same amount of buck.
This is the second TapMedia app I can remember downloading and I have not had major problems with either app. This is a 5 star effort. Please don't fix what ain't broke.
However, sometimes an app makes a great first impression on me only to end up disappointing me. If this happens I will revise my rating and edit my review. Thank you so much TapMedia for creating a very good and affordable sound recording tool for those who live on disability income. I hope to create my next and bestest new song on this app.
Update one day later: So far my favorite feature is how I can play my tracks on repeat and shuffle. Please don't fix what ain't broke.

Application is not allowing you to delete files nor transfer. No support from developer. Don't buy it!!!

Please fix the bug in this recording app as I always have trouble recording I never used to but I do now after one minute the app decides to quit.. What good is that going to do for me let alone anyone else who uses this app. This could use a few bug fixes and updates.. Also it says I have to be connected to the Internet to use it.. I thought this could work offline too. Please fix it and I will 5 stars this needs a lot of working on though I can't have it exiting when I am trying to record

Voice recorder premium
Extremely simple, basically like an old tape machine, record, stop, play. But good sound quality, playback can loop, speed up to x2.5, slow down to x.5 (useful) in increments of .5 Cannot select short passage to loop. Can rename files, create folders and send by mail etc.
