Excellent app!!

Thank you for this detailed and honest review. You were right on every point, and your feedback directly shaped our new version 2.0.1. Everything you mentioned is now fixed: 1. Your voice now plays automatically. When a reminder goes off, the app plays your recorded voice right away and can take over the screen with a full-page alarm. No more hunting for a notification and tapping it. 2. The "unlimited" wording is gone. You were absolutely right that it was contradictory. The Settings screen now clearly states the real free-plan limit, and "unlimited reminders" is only mentioned as a Premium feature. 3. 12-hour clock is now the default. Every screen and time picker shows AM/PM times out of the box, and a 24-hour option remains in Settings for those who prefer it. 4. Exact minutes are now possible. The new time pickers let you set any minute you like, so 2:24 or 1:53 works perfectly. No more 5-minute steps. We would love for you to give version 2.0.1 a try. If anything still falls short, please write to us and we will make it right. Thank you for helping us make the app better.
VERY disappointing “
Also, the settings screen says Free plan- Unlimited reminders, in any voice you love.
BUT this is a total and utter lie, because when you look at Subscription information, it indicates that the free plan is limited to only two active reminders. So obviously they cannot count very well because unlimited reminders and a limit of two reminders is totally contradictory.
This is totally not what I expected. I expected it to actually play the recorded notification to alert me that there’s something that I have to do.
Another annoyance, which actually makes it difficult to use the app, is that in order to set the time, it uses a 24 Hour clock. So that forces me to spend more time trying to figure out what time to set it for.
Additionally, sometimes I like to set alarms for odd times, like 2:24, or 1:53, etc., but with this app, my only option is to set it for 225 or 155.
Love it!

Thank you so much for the suggestion, and great news: Critical Alerts are now fully supported! Since version 2.0.1, the app can ring through the mute switch, Do Not Disturb and Focus modes, playing your own recorded voice at full volume so an important reminder is never missed. To enable it, simply allow "Critical Alerts" when the app asks after updating, or turn it on anytime under iOS Settings > Notifications > Voice Reminders Alarm > Critical Alerts. You can also run a quick test from the app via Settings > Test Alarm to hear it in action. Thank you for helping us shape the app. If anything doesn't work the way you expect, reach us at our mail and we'll sort it out.
A beautiful concept to keep loved ones' voices alive
