Manual speed not working
After the latest update, I am no longer able to manually adjust the speed of the teleprompter. It only does it incriminates of 10. Is there anything I can do to fix it or a work around?

You're right, the new stepper buttons step in increments of 10. We'd kept that as a deliberate change to make the buttons easier to hit during a presentation, but lost the precision the slider gave you. The next update brings finer control back: tap the +/- to step by 1, hold them to scroll faster, and tap the speed number itself to type any value directly. Should release soon.
Won’t save Mirror choice
I like the app layout and how it functions.. EXCEPT ONE MAJOR FLAW which needs to be fixed in an update immediately. You have to select the mirror option in each individual script and then if you leave the script it resets. There needs to be the option to turn on mirror mode for all scripts. Trying to go in and find the mirror option while the iPad in on the teleprompter stand is annoying at least. Please fix. There are free options that have this function. Which I will most likely be going back to.

Thanks for the feedback! Mirror mode now saves globally across all scripts in version 1.4, no more resetting every time. Hope it makes the stand setup much easier.
I love it but……
I discovered this app a few years ago. It was great. I wrote my speech and I am able to highlights the words to help me focus. However, this feature disappeared about 2 years ago. I am able to highlight and color each word or phrases. However, once done, saved and switched over to the screen to present my speech. Then, I discovered that 1) the highlighted words and phrases didn’t transfer over to the prompting screen. It has worked since. 2). There’s not support that I can ask for help. Because I am so soused to this app I decide to give the Teleprompter Pro a chance, perhaps, they have updated and solve that problem. If not, adios! Teleprompter Pro!!

Bug to get out of settings
I bought the app because I needed to mirror the text, I just bought the pro and I’m the settings, once I enter the tab, I can’t even get back to main screen! So annoying...
Awful — save your money
This works great if you have time to constantly delete and reinstall the app, but there are so many things about this that just don’t work. When you add a script, you better make sure it’s perfect, because there is no editing once you’ve hit “save”. When you rename files, it gets stuck and won’t let you “exit” the file renaming screen, so you have to close the app altogether just to access your files. And then when you go to use the teleprompter feature, half the time it just doesn’t scroll. So you have to delete and reinstall the app. I wish I had taken more of these negative reviews seriously. Don’t waste your time or money. DO NOT download this app.

Hear you and I'm sorry for the frustrating experience. Version 1.4 addresses all three issues you mentioned, script editing is now available after saving, the file renaming screen no longer gets stuck, and the scrolling freeze has been fixed. Hope you'll give the update a try.

It does not work
I was able to import a script from a word doc
However, the settings menu after I set it to mirrored has no function to go back to the prompter screen. So it gets stuck and I need to quit the app. This makes it absolutely unusable

A bit rough finding the right speed but I think I figured it out
Paid for pro, but it doesn’t do what it claims
Paid for the pro version so it would highlight text as I read it. No matter what I do, it will not save the settings to highlight text or change text colour.
It won’t allow you to directly import a saved script into the app, you have to go to the script and export it (but my iPad won’t even give me the option to export to this app) so I have had to copy and paste my script in.
There is also issues with the prompter moving even when I am not speaking, and not moving despite talking and going at hyper speed even if slowed to like level 5 slow.
It is a teleprompter so it gets two starts because it is what it’s named but the fact the features I have paid for don’t actually work is highly irritating.

I ranked 3 star vs 1 star because the app will at least load on ancient iPad 2 which I pulled from the tech treasure chest solely for a TelePrompTer set up.
I upgraded to the voice activated but the scrolling speed only operates at one speed. no matter the setting, FAST is the only scroll speed.
Could some of the 5 star rankles share the secret. Are you just a fast reader/speaker or is there some secret to get the voice activated scrolling to operate at a slower pace.
Otherwise, imma need a refund and I'll go back to the non-voice activated scrolling app which at least works as designed.

Can’t import docs
DO NOT BUY THIS. I upgraded from an older version and found that the icons to import copy don’t come up. Although it claims to there is no visible “share” button. The manual older version was pretty good but this new “version” is terrible. We’re looking elsewhere - I’ve wasted money
