This is a fantastic learning app my non verbal son still uses it on his other device, it doesn’t work with current iOS. So many are missing out on this clean beautifully designed app. Please please update!

Shuffle each subject...
There should be a way to shuffle each category. For example, the alphabet doesn't always have to be taught in order. And sometimes my daughter doesn't have enough patience to sit through an entire subject. There should be an option to start where I last left off so there's less repetition of the beginning images.

My twins LOVE this app!!!!!
My 2 year old twins love this app so much! I love that they can watch the flashcards while they auto-advance, the huge variety of cards is incredible and the woman's voice is very clear. They have learned SO MANY words from this app already! There are only two things I would add in an update: the option to chose how long a card is being shown (ie, 1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec), and have the option of how many times the word is said for each card. Otherwise, a FANTASTIC app!!!

Awesome but...
I read the reviews for all flash cards and after much consideration, decided on purchasing this one. I liked the idea that besides English & Spanish, youcould use your own voice. Would give this awesome app 5 stars if it wasn't for this minor flaw: there is a huge delay when using your own voice. Son is staring at flash card and wants to scroll to next card already, takes too long before own recording comes on. Tried recording several times, at faster pace but still same result. Still highly recommend based on everything else had it not had this feature. Only disappointment was expecting to use this feature but rather delete my recordings & use default voice to not experience lag time.

Finally Spanish Sound Flash Cards!!!
I can't tell you how hard I've been looking for an app like this. We are trilingual, Spanish being our native language. We live in the US and want to teach our daughter Spanish first, then she'll get the English in daycare and kindergarten and then start with French in first grade.
I love that you can record your own voice! I also agree that for future updates, we could be able to upload our pictures, edit text and record our audio like we are doing it now.
I've purchase tens of apps and I usually don't review them regardless if they are good or bad, too lazy... but this one deserves it! 5 stars all the way!!

The flashcards app. for children and mainly babys!
I recommend this app. To everyone who has children growing up! This is the best app. Ever! No having to deal with cards of any chape, animals, numbers, colors... Etc. It contains all in one flashcards on the go. When my baby gets cranky on a long trip or anything at anytime, we all start learning and all the fuss and screaming is gone! Thank you for inventing this app. This is worth buying 100%!

Great App - Small suggestions
My toddler started using this at around 2 years old. She LOVES it. I do as well. Real flash cards wind up all over the house and on the floor. These don't. Also, I love the ability to change the voice to your own. I sort of wish it would offer different dialects. I noticed others commenting on that also. For example, my husband is English and I am Texan. You can imagine what sort of dialect my toddler will grow up with. It would be amazing if we could have the flash cards speaking in English (British dialect) without my husband having to go through all the pictures himself. Over all - this get's high marks from me. She plays with it before bed time for 10 or 15 minutes and can repeat most of the words (in her own speech)! It's great because I dont' have to always be on top of her while she scrolls through the pictures. It frees me up to do other things while watching her use it. LOVE IT! Educational, FUN, Easy to Use and Cool Features. THANKS!

Almost great.
I really like this app. My 18 month old has already memories a couple letters! The only thing I wish were different is the time it takes for your voice over to talk on the card. On the original voice it is instant, as soon as you touch the page. On my voice over it takes so long to talk that my baby thinks it's broken and moves on. Totally unusable if you ask me. Other than that, good app.

Better than flashcards!!
This is a great enhancement over a typical flashcard app!! I love that it speaks the words (voice has no accent)but even more awesome is the ability to record your own voice if you choose!! I also appreciate the fact they used pictures of actual objects not drawings. So far I've just seen a few errors (pic of walnuts for pecan, an Oriole for a sparrow and an egret for a pelican) not a biggie for the average toddler user :-). Tho you could record your own word if desired! Great program--look forward to more categories!!!

Well worth the money spent!
This app is well-loved by our young autistic child, who can flip through the flash cards at whatever pace she chooses, acquiring a little vocab in the process! I love the high quality photos and pleasant sound effects (so far the chime that happens when you flip a card hasn't gotten on my nerves at all, and she's been playing with the app a LOT).
My only quibble is that some of the choices for words and pronunciations seem off. Example, I guess it's a regional thing but I've never heard the "measuring" in "measuring cup" and "measuring tape" pronounced like "MAYzureing" before (where I live, it's more "MEHzureing). I was also quite surprised to see the word "Biscuits" under what looked like some sort of cracker. I know "biscuits" in the UK=cookies, but I wasn't aware this app originated in the UK. Is it Canadian English? Biscuits in my region (of the US) are white fluffy round bread-like things. Additional confusion was caused by the "Viola" card. The voice pronounced it "VYEola" when I've only ever heard this instrument called a "VEEola." Also, what is shown in that picture has an end pin, and as violas don't, I think what they're showing is a cello.
The good news is--the option is there to replace the spoken voice with your own. You can also eliminate the text (so I could take away the word "Biscuits") altogether. For future updates, I would love to see the option available of *editing* the text and eliminating a single card altogether.
Otherwise, it's an awesome app and still worth five stars, in my opinion!

Pretty good app, a couple minor flaws
Overall, this is a good app for little kids. There is a decent selection of word categories with clear pictures to go with the words. The pronunciation is clear, and the interface is easy for small children to navigate.
The app has two minor flaws. First, if the cards are flipped very rapidly, there is a small chance that the next card will not load. If this happens, the app needs to be exited to return to normal. Second, the volume levels for each word are not totally uniform. You'll occasionally run into a word that is said noticably louder than the others.
All in all, this is a good app with two minor bugs. It's easily worth a dollar or two.

Great app
My 2-year-old son loves these flashcards. He loves seeing the pictures (very good quality) and then not only saying the words himself but hearing the audio feedback confirm his guess as well. Whatever problem previous reviewers had with this app's voice acting, they seem to have been cleared up now. The voice acting is professional, clear and easy for a toddler to understand. I like that we have the option of recording our own voices for each card as well. All in all, there's a lot of functionality here for the price.

It's good because it's got a voice BUT
UPDATE: since my last review this company responded to my complaint immediatly and has promised an update of this App with a professional English speaking voice with no accent! Yeah! And awesome customer service responding promptly and professionaly to my concern about this app. Thank you, I now give this app 5 stars and wait patiently for the release of the improved voice update!

I will give 5 stars if you update this app with a woman voice who's first language is English and doesn't have a weird accent. I'm a bit nervous to let my daughter listen in fear she will start saying words with this accent. But at least she can play with this app and learn anyway.
I also visited this companys website to request they change the voice on the cards and I hope they get back to me and also update this app as their customers are requesting, it could be perfect app if they get the pronounciation on these flash card words right.

Few problems which has to be fixed...take it seriously please
Accent very funny, seems like south Indian accent. Sound of letter " H " and many other sounds. Most of the time the sound won't come up loud even thou you make the phone volume too high. It really hard to hear. The person who developed this application has put a review with 5 stars and saying that all bad review are from their competitors, I would like to tell them why not you use this for few days and than decide how many stars it deserves. The design of the app is good, but few bugs has to be solved to get 5 stars..... Female's voice with better accent and the low sound problem.
