How do I find previous recordings?
App is on my phone, but actual widget on first page Home Screen is missing.
When I open the app it displays “this is a sample memo…”, and I don’t see a way to access previous memos, including an important one needed for upcoming doctor appointment.
Did I lose the memos by accidentally doing something wrong, or do they exist and I just can’t find them?
So bummed, don’t know if anyone will see this question and have an answer, and where I’d see a reply.

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to write. I'm sorry for the worry this has caused, especially with an appointment coming up. From what you describe, I don't believe this is something you did wrong. Under some conditions the app appears to fail to read its saved data and falls back to showing the built-in sample memos. I'm still investigating the exact cause, and I intend to address it. Please try this first, as your memo may still be recoverable. If you tapped the save button in the app (the downward-arrow-into-tray icon at the bottom left), it should have written a backup text file. Open the Files app and check both of these places: - iCloud Drive, in a folder named KoeMemo - On My iPhone, in a folder named KoeMemo Look for files named backup_large_..., backup_medium_..., backup_small_..., backup_lockLarge_... or backup_lockSmall_..., each followed by a date and time. Up to 10 of the most recent backups per memo slot are kept. The iCloud Drive copy is stored outside the app, so it may still be there even if the app was removed and reinstalled at some point, which is worth checking first. If you never used the save button, those backup files are unlikely to exist. I'm sorry. Relying on a manual save is a shortcoming in the current design, and automatic backups are something I want to add. On finding previous recordings: the app does not keep a list of past recordings. It has 5 fixed memo slots (Large, Medium and Small for Home Screen widgets, plus 2 for Lock Screen widgets), selectable with the tabs at the top of the screen. Each new dictation is added to the top of whichever slot is currently selected. So if a memo is not in one of those 5 tabs, there is no separate history to browse. I realise that is not obvious from the interface, and I would like to make it clearer. 楽！！
開ければすぐに録画開始する設定にしてあるので、ストレスなく音声でメモしています。
とは言え、お店の名前など、言った通りではない表記になったりしますが、わかればいいやって程度に使ってます。
後での修正も楽ですし。
ウィジェットにもできるので、買い物リストとしても使ってます。
日付が出る設定も助かってます！！
