Love the latest update!
Love this app. I can easily make tons of new symbols in a twinkling as the app automatically select images and record voice. Now I can even print them out wirelessly. This is a great option for those who like to have laminated cards, too. This is a big life saver.
Keep up with the good work :)
Our family has been using Voice4u for a long time. It is simple and easy to use, especially adding a new vocablary, now it is almost automatic; as soon as I type in a word or sentence, the app creates one for you with a photo and voice. I can also print vocabularies on a paper by a single tap thanks to the latest feature. It gives us a good option for digital and physical cards. Thanks and keep up with the good work :)

What!!!!!!!?
Not for camera roll to save in , or other apps on the iPhone .π©πΏ I lived by myself, you know!!! And I need to communicate with others ; not to myselfπ... Crazy app!
I need this working on iMessages, Imovie Photos ,Facebook ,Twitter, Instagram (etc.) The whole 9 yard ; otherwise this app can stay free 4forever.
... Unless you give yourself to this app an update , then it really means something. And I will fill in the rest of the stars if you do ,thank you for your time.

How to change images then save??
Edit mood allows me to change the images but I can't save them.... I'm really frustrated.... For an expensive app like this
Scary
Good app as far as communication. I am using for my non-verbal son. Would be better if it did nit have the aliens they are creepy.
?
Why this cost 54.99β¬ in irish store and why you chinese developers ask so much for any crap you make?
Creepy
I agree. Why do they have to look like aliens? Please make the characters look sweet.
Voice4u
You can switch the pics for your own! I love this app!
Would be excellent without alien people
This would be an excellent app to use with my young child but the alien looking people scare her, and honestly they creep me out a little.
Easy to use and personalise
I love this application. The ease of customisation was vital for me, particularly the voice recording. I love the fact that you can use your own photos or very easily, within the app, search the web for images. Many other applications were pitched at much young users, I like this application as it can be adapted for any age user, grow with the person if you like. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to give someone a voice.

A Good App for AAC
Voice4U lets you create multiple categories of words and short phrases for everyday conversation. There are over 150 preloaded icons and words separated into nine categories. The categories are listed in alphabetical order and shows both images and the text. Customizing takes five easy steps. Take a picture, record the word or phrase, type in the text, select a category, and review your work. You can also edit any of the preloaded icons and customize the word, image, audio, or category. There is a wealth of words and phrases and the icons are easily recognizable. The interface is set to a list of words based on categories or you can browse them based on alphabetical order, popular used words, or recently used words.
I installed the app on the iPad2. Although not designed specifically for the iPad, it ports over well and is a very usable app. It's a great addition to other AAC apps that you may have since every user will have their own preferences. This app is used in a multi-user environment for people with disabilities. It's a great app to use for all ages and all types of disabilities.
The app is simple to use and easy to customize. For $29.99, it is a cost-effective option for augmentative and alternative communication. A keyboard option is not available. There is an option to lock the editing function but the lock is not password protected. Voice4U uses recorded speech and lacks a sentence construction window. Overall, the app serves its purpose well and can be used with minimal setup.

Communication at fingertips
I downloaded this app after receiving a code to access for free.I am a special education teacher and have a number of students who are non-verbal in my class. I find this app easy to use and also easy to add to. Whether the students find it easy to use is yet to be discovered.
Good start
I have enjoyed using this app as a way to begin to introduce the concept of using the IPad as a way to communicate. For younger children help is needed to initially navigate the choices of pictures; however for older children who love video games they often learn to navigate the pictures easily. One of the nicest features is the ability to add own pics to personalize.

Limited usefulness
Am wondering why you chose to not use the universal pic sim images in your illustrations.
We have found your illustrations to be vague and confusing. Some are even a little frightening. If the user can not read the words choosing by symbol does not work very well.
It's a good idea, but special needs nonverbal children learn pic sims at school.

Speech Language Pathologist Review
I found this app to be very useful for my non-verbal students or students with a limited speech repetoire. I especially like the fact that I was able to personalize the photos(i.e., add familiar objects, classroom staff, students, and rewards) into this app. I even allowed someof the students to record their own names with their pictures. I can also modify this app to add information about books we've read in speech and ask "wh" questions about it. This app serves as a great visual support to my lessons... Bye Bye velcrow, laminating paper and scissors:)

Love Vocie4u on iPad
Awesome application; exceeds my expectations and works beautifully for my 7 year old daughter with CP. We have tried two different aug comm devices, $3,000 and $8000 respectively. Voice4u on iPad blows them both out of the water for $29.99. The other two devices were bulky, worked sporadically, poor visibility, low battery life, difficult to personalize. Voice4u is exactly the opposite on all accounts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A great investment!
This app saved our family. We used to use a specialized device, but our son stopped using it when he became a teenager saying, "It looks
stupid. I hate it". It seemed like he didn't like being different from his other friends. However, Voice4u can be used on the iPod touch, so
when he went to school with it the other kids kept talking about how "cool" or "awesome" it was. My son seemed very happy. Now he uses his
iPod touch to communicate with his friends. He has a lot of fun conversing with others, showing his friends his app and talking about other cool iTouch applications. Thanks to Voice4u, my son has made a lot more friends, and really looks forward to going to school everyday, and feels bored when there school is off for the weekend. I
never thought this day would come! Millions of thanks!!!

Unbelievable!!
We have voice4u on our Ipad. My daughter's fingers are not that dextrous, so I thought she would have trouble using an iPod Touch. However, she was able to use it with ease on the Ipad. She especially likes the cute pictures!! She likes to show off the pictures, so she's always happy to talk with others using the application. I never thought a day would come when she would be so talkative!! I'm thrilled!!

Say goodbye to PECS
I never want to make a Pecs card again. Not ever. No more messy rooms
with paper and lamination scraps all over the place. I have been able
to escape such dreadful days thanks to Voice4u. When the images are on
paper, I have to ask my kids to pay attention to me, which in itself
takes forever. With Voice4u though, the moment I take the iPod touch
out of my pocket, my kids are all over me. I can easily get their
attention, and i don't have to worry about them running away. Thank
you so much for creating such an unbelievable icon.

So helpful!
This app is amazing...!
I have a 3 year old with cerebral palsy. He is not the most verbal creature either...he is beginning to be able to show me pictures of what he needs or wants (which is so much better than me guessing what he needs!)
We had a dynavox for awhile and it was way to difficult to both program and carry about... this provides instant access at all times! Plus, you can add your own photos, which makes it very personal!
I think for the price, this is a major value. Compared to other products, this is well worth the cost. It may take a bit to learn to navigate, but all communication devices need to be learned.
