Companion app interface does not function
Voice Jam FX Rack does not display correctly when enabled making it impossible to adjust parameters. I would report this to Support but the web link doesn't load the page. The sound processing without the companion app is mediocre. I would not recommend this purchase unless the interface display is fixed to work with Voice Jam FX Rack . (iPad 5th Gen)

My headphones are connected but it won’t come through
Hoping someone can tell me how to fix this issue. My headphones are Bluetooth and the output only goes through my phone so I’m not able to loop the way it’s intended. Help! Besides that great app
The erase “X” button doesn’t work.
I tried closing and opening this app, hoping that it would fix the issue-nothing happened. I tried accessing the online support, safari couldn’t connect to server. I hope your support team can read this.

Disappointing at best
This app is nothing short of amazing. The learning curve for me... a 66 year old independent writer/producer... was a bit steep. Still not understanding the “reverse” “stutter” and other weird stuff in that menu... LOVE that the app works with iRig BlueBoard!!! AND the BlueBoard presets were EXACTLY what I needed.
OK... so I spoke too soon. This is the most convoluted bunch of crap app ever... yes, it has great sounds and yes it works with the iRig BlueBoard but WOW... it has all of these ridiculous “Loop Lock”, “Beat Lock”, “Sync blah blah” features that DON’T WORK! The “Smart Metronome” is absolutely USELESS. I’ve been trying for two days now to get tracks to STAY IN SYNC with each other. NO WAY, NO HOW, NOPE, NADA... AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN!!!
What’s the use of “LOOPING” if the tracks don’t stay in time with each other? I’ve downloaded the user manual and it’s full of bragging about their marvelous sounds and all of this other whizz bang doo-doo but NOTHING about how to sync tracks.
I have been using LOOPY for over a year now with NO ISSUES of loops being able to synchronize. If only Loopy had the amazing vocal effects that are in this app...
So, for LIVE PERFORMANCE that is ALWAYS synchronized... forget this garbage, go get Loopy

Best iOS looper for vocals
The best looper for vocalists and soundscape enthusiasts. The UI is intuitive and efficient.
I’d love to see an update which allows InterApp Audio compatibility of VoiceJamStudio to use within other iOS apps. Another feature I’d like is longer knob automation fading, up to 10 seconds.

App dead
Updated 11/2019: Haven’t used this for awhile but had to use it recently. No longer plays back after recording. You’ve been warned. It doesn’t work.
Problem I'm having has to do with saving/loading a session. First file saved doesn't appear to have been saved or deleted. Tried over and over again to load and while the session file is there, when I do press it, there's no session or any action from the press; completely inactive. So I tried to delete the first session to no avail. Created a second session and saved as. That one saves fine and plays okay. It also deletes all the while the first session just sits there - inactive.

It doesn’t work with ipad pro 11”
It doesn’t work properly with iPad Pro 11”, it does not work with bluetooth connected headphones, some options hang, how can I get my monety back?

I used to love this app, now it’s completely outdated. I wouldn’t buy suggest buying it unless the developers give it some attention!
Good app, smart metronome is broken
I reviewed this earlier and was completely frustrated with the problems i was having.
Turns out, so far, the problems are all with ‘smart’ metronome.
It just doesnt work. Turn it off if you find bpm and metronom issues. Im assuming smart metronome is supposed to be smart...not sure why i thought that, but it isnt. It mutes when you try to record your first one, so im assuming its deciding your bpm based on that first recording. Stupid. Then if you restart a recording again, it then doubles the speed.
Maybe its just me and the fact that i hate the ‘smart metronome’ but its a piece of junk to me.
Anyways. Upgraded to 4 star.

The best looper app
I’ve tried them all, and VoiceJam is by far the best. I rely on it weekly for live performances. It’s intuitive to use and the quick effects are amazing.

Great app, just needs a tweak but great
I've been using loopy which is great and the leader in looping apps, but I'm switching to this on iPad (just downloaded iPhone version) because the inclusion of all the effects makes this perfect for vocal looping, or any instrument really. It's really versatile.
Only slight improvement personally would be the ability to change the harmonic intervals on the effects, maybe also have an upper and lower together effect for those perfect 3 part harmonies.

Needs fixing, terrible support
Any attempt to export results in request to open Mixtikl app. The website support and suggestion pages can't be found, and in order to get anywhere you have to sign up and sign in. Don't these guys want to talk to their customers?

Anyone who has ever played win a looper for anything more than the most simple of recordings knows that all loopers have some kind of flaw that makes them frustrating, limiting, or downright useless. After following Beardyman, Reggie Watts, Tim Exile, etc... For many years and spending countless hours and dollars trying to build a looping rig that comes close to what I want in terms of vocal effects, easy looping, simplicity, portability, and power; TC may have just made my dreams come true with VoiceJamStudio. My review comes just in the wake of the release of the Smart Metronome feature (without this, this app can barely be called a looper) which is the last fundamental piece this app was missing. The $6 in in-app purchases ($3 for 8 loops, and $3 for external control) were an absolute no-brainier and I couldn't be happy with the relatively little money I paid for this app. This may sound like a planted, paid-for, staged review, but I assure you I am simply an enthusiast who could not be more excited about how simple TC have just made my live rig. Aside from the unavoidable effect latency with more complicated effects, this app is as close to perfect as any looping environment I have ever used. Thanks TC!!!

So much fun
Get the bundle with voice rack fx. I am not even a singer and I still have tons of fun with these Helicon apps. I can actually make stuff that sounds good, to other people too, with ease. Just take the 23 seconds needed to learn how to use it and away you go making cool sounds and enjoying yourself. Please do not even try to complain about price. This is a quality app that has a ton of features. It is worth a lot more than what the price is. It really irritates me when people complain about apps under $20. What is $20? It is barely enough to pay for a day of food from the grocery store. I do understand complaints about an app being lousy because it is so annoying that someone would actually put an app out there that is terrible. The tc-Helicon apps are class acts. The company is cool. Their videos are cool. It goes on and on. I am grateful to them and the few other good music app creators out there. You guys improve my quality of life a lot. I wish I could pay you back somehow. I hope the honesty of this review will be felt..Keep em coming!

Audiobus no longer works
One star until bugs are fixed. I relied on being able to use this app in Audiobus which no longer works since last Audiobus update. Tried to contact customer support but you are forced to create a whole profile and post to forums they don't appear to be monitored regularly... So I'll just complain about it here because customer service should really be more user friendly.
