About
VoiceNote is the fastest way to get a thought out of your head. Tap record, say it out loud, and you have a clean note in seconds. No typing, no setup, no account.
When you stop recording, VoiceNote writes down what you said, tidies up the rambling, and gives the note a title and a short summary. If you mentioned something to do, it pulls that out as a to-do, and any event you mention is one tap away from your calendar.
The part people like most: you can ask your notes questions. Open the chat and type something like "what did I decide about the trip?" or "what have I been meaning to read?", and VoiceNote finds the notes that matter and answers from them. It shows you exactly which notes it used, so you can check its work.
Everything happens on your iPhone.
Your recordings, your transcripts, and your questions never leave the device. There is no server, no account to create, no API key to paste in, and nothing to pay for. It works on a plane with the wifi off. That is possible because VoiceNote runs entirely on Apple's own on-device speech and intelligence frameworks.
What you can do:
- Record a thought and get a clean, titled note back
- Replay the original audio any time, or add more to a note later
- Read and edit the transcript yourself
- Ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in your notes
- Turn spoken to-dos into reminders and calendar events with a tap
- Search and browse everything by date
VoiceNote is small on purpose. It does a few things and tries to do them well: catch the thought, clean it up, and let you find it again later just bye asking.
Free, private, and yours.
