I’ve been using this for a short time, but I’ve already discovered that it’s the perfect solution for me. I like that I can use brackets so it won’t stop growing, but still reminds me of points I want to make along the way. It will then resume scrolling once I repeat the next line in the sequence. Great app! No complaints.

This App is a game changer . There is no lag and it follows my voice perfectly.. even skips along with me if I choose to remove a part during my read. I use to read off a script back and forth with my camera and then have to edit out looking over for the next line. Definitely a great addition for smoother videos

I wish the reading animation was smoother, other than that this is a very cool app.
Difficult trial
I agree with another poster who said the trial is a pain. About the time you’re figuring out how it works. The trial has expired. You’re only allowed one edit. And I struggled to get the settings right for the script to hold its position in the middle of the camera. It might have potential but it’s hard to test.

This app is nothing short of sensational, I can use my iPhone 17's camera app for front facing videos and have the script as a separate window and it works like a dream, even when I freestyle it picks up where I left off perfectly, it has production, I paste my final script in with production notes, helped by perplexity, which places these production notes in brackets so they are simply greyed out on the script, where to put title cards, b rolls etc, paste straight into the app, then use the app with the script during editing to spead up workflow. This app is superb! Buy the lifetime license it's a steal!!

Best teleprompter out there
By now, I’ve tried just about every Teleprompter app there is and this beats them all by a country mile for my needs. I specifically need it for TikTok videos and while I would prefer a translucent overlay rather than a solid box, from the research that I’ve done that is due to TikTok and third-party application restrictions. Which makes sense because used elsewhere or in its own app you can use the translucent feature. Also, the maker of the app has a calendar link when you go to give feedback or report a bug, and I was able to get on a call with him to walk-through the features. That is unusual in my experience. Lastly, since I have minimal use for it, it is free, which cannot be beat. I would give this app 10 stars if I could after comparing it to the rest.

Game Changer
I have a number of Podcasts and this teleprompter for my intros and outros is proving to be a game changer. Love it 👏🏻👏🏻

I would rather a limited trial than what this app does. It gives you limited scripts and edits, once you use them the app becomes unfunctional without “pro”. He says it’s to be “consumer friendly” but it actually feels like the total opposite. I would rather start a three day trial so I can make as many edits as I want, try it for a shoot and see if I like it.
As for functionality, it’s straight forward, which I appreciate. I make the words fit entirely in my lens to get rid of obvious eye movements. But this means when reading with voice activation, sometimes it lags behind, so I’ll be a few lines ahead of my script. It does catch up because I’ll pause or it will skip to where I am. This is probably because my phone microphone isnt a professional one, so it might just be better to get used to the regular constant setting.
Important settings like line activation are not in the settings menu on your actual script, it’s in the main settings for the app. This makes adjustments incredibly annoying because you cant see the effects your edits are making. This makes the fine tuning process VERY tedious. That is the biggest problem, would be 5 stars otherwise.
It has a life time license option, which I really appreciate of course. That is actually consumer friendly. The pricing is much better than many other apps. Maybe I’ll buy lifetime, im going to check my other options first, but it seems like the best you can do at the price point. I hope the web version will be updated to have the same native functionality so you can use it with teleprompters that have a tablet that comes with it.

Hi, thank you for a detailed review. Most other apps lock the best features behind a paywall, I give all users 3 free custom scripts, so anyone can test the full capabilities of the app and decide if it's worth the money. I think it's more convenient to know if the app does what it claims before purchasing or activating a trial with a payed commitment, which is what most apps do. It's something I didn't like when I was trying to find an app before building VoicePrompter. Because how am I supposed to know, if the voice scrolling works for example before paying. That's the main motivation behind this trial system. I honestly think it's more transparent this way. And for the settings: This is why I made a customizable Dock quick settings. You can add any settings to the quick dock settings, so you can adjust them and see the difference in a real time. And select only the ones you want to use for simplicity. You can even save settings presets for different types of shoots, which saves me a lot of time while shooting.
This is the product you need!
This is exactly the prompter I needed. I can have it open with my script in other apps. I LOVE how I don’t have to set some generic rate for it to move forward but it intuitively just follows my voice. It’s an excellent app and I can see it helping millions of content creators.
Doesn’t work
When. I first opened it the program followed my script but then suddenly stopped working and nothing I can think of makes it work again. Tried checking settings etc and nothin. Waste of my time

Brilliant app
It works a thousand times better than every other teleprompter app I’ve ever used. The developer is responsive, too, and always endeavours to fix any bugs as and when they arise. Overall, this is a great app, way ahead of the rest.
