This app is absolutely garbage it spends soo much time making avatars for you to buy that it doesn’t even care about the actual functions of the app. It also can give you viruses so please do not install this app it is horrendous.

Well I’m pretty sure it gave me a virus because after I downloaded i got a notification asking if I was looking for single paper plates in my area, but yes you should buy it

I love the Voki program and I have used the website for years. The talking characters really engage students! I just recently tried the app and I was disappointed by the lack of characters to select from. The app does not offer any of the fairytale characters or the career characters. These were the two categories that I selected images from the most. I was disappointed that the selection on the website didn’t match the options on the app. One good change was a new feature allowing paying subscribers to download the videos. Now, my videos play automatically when inserted in a slideshow.

Hi there, been a Voki fan for years! This app while awesome crashes when you press the play button after you hear the audio bit. Plus it took too long to “download characters” when they aren’t all free which makes no sense. There are so few that are free and I don’t see why they aren’t all free. It’s very frustrating.

Keeps crashing every time I try to play what I type. I have laryngitis and really need it today. Worked great last year.

This app would have some great potential for my students to use. But every time I try to play the voice that I’ve recorded or The Voice it has the app crashes.
Very disappointed
We are trying to use this app and website in class and it’s pretty much horrible. overall. a big fat 1 star from me. very disappointed in the service it provides and also how it glitches the phone and computer.
