I have used both Volleyball Ace and Tap Recorder for many years at multiple levels and it’s the easiest way one to train managers to help stat games and practice. Customer support has always been available and answer my questions with accuracy.
Lightweight and Agile
I’ve been using this app for years. It enables me to quickly generate stats based on the play of the game. Ports easily to MaxPreps and the consolidation feature allows me to quickly track trends within a match or across portions of our season. I don’t use all of the available features in the app, but those I use support my coaching well.

Volleyball Ace is a Winner!
Volleyball Ace knows the game better than most. In one of our recent games, the young score keepers had challenges running the score board. The Officials relied on me (really, Volleyball Ace) for the official score.

Volleyball Ace Knows Volleyball
Updating and earlier review, I’ve used volleyball since at least 2005 for both high school and club stats. Because of its intuitive interface, I’ve had students and parents keep stats with it and done it myself as an assistant coach. We are known in our district and region for having complete and accurate stats, which helps my players get the recognition they deserve in the post season. Also, with Volleyball Ace, I know more about the attack tendencies of our opponents than their own coaches. I know where they attack from the most, but more importantly, where they score from the most. We know which positions to focus on and which to ignore. My wife and I have coached our varsity team for 34 seasons and we’ve used Volleyball Ace for over half that time. I’d never go back to paper stats. Finally, the support is great and I’ve often made enhancement suggestions that have been quickly implemented.

Volleyball Coach
I have used this program for almost 20 years!! We just won our second state title in North Dakota!! This program is always spot on with my stats.. I am not always the techie person, but Jack is always willing to help me through and guide me to get it figured out!! They are always updating and finding new ways to make this program better!!

Volleyball Ace is the best
This stats program is so easy to use and gets the most accurate stats during fast paced matches at very high levels. I specifically love how it records blocks, I’ve struggled to find any other program that gets blocks correct without being complicated. I am able to get immediate stats in the middle of matches that are crucial to my coaching ability. The program is efficient and it is very simple to upload stats to MaxPreps. On top of an excellent stats program the support is second to none. I had some technical issues at no fault to Volleyball Ace and the problem was corrected in less than 24 hours. I’ve used this program 6+ years and don’t plan to switch anytime soon.

Great app, awesome customer service
I’ve been using this stat app for 8 years now. Two different times I’ve gone to transfer stats from my iPad to my computer only to find out an update has made the old version not work.
Both times I’ve received feedback within 12 hours. The first time was a phone call within 10 minutes of submitting my question.

Had some issues with product codes for added features and Ace took care of it quickly and efficiently. They were very responsive. Software is easy to use on top of it all.
Great App for Club and School Volleyball
We have used this app for nearly 7 years and it has been fantastic. One person can easily set up the matches and record the progress of the game. Definitely an app parents can use because the action of the game is programmed in. I became the go-to many times because it easily tracks every touch on the points and the stats have helped our coaches make in game and team adjustments throughout the seasons. The developer is readily available for support and feedback. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED APP. Was a great find in the App Store and has been one of the most usable and helpful apps I have ever purchased.

Best stats app I've used
My daughter has 3 years left in club so I invested in several volleyball stats apps to find the best for me. This app records every touch your team makes. Uses each touch to create stats on everything you could think of. This is by far the best app I found. It's easy to use and their tech support is incredibly helpful with short hold times. If you purchase I highly recommend watching the videos on their website, it was key for me in realizing the potential of this product.

Volleyball Ace Software
I have use this software for over a decade and this software is by far the best software on the market to keep volleyball stats. I have tried all different types of programs but none of those programs can hold a candle to Volleyball Ace. The software knows volleyball and knows how and what stats are compiled during a game. Basically requires you to tap player numbers that are already laid out on your display in the current rotation. It took me about two games before I was proficient with the software. Quick stats on the fly for offense or defense can help you see who has the hot hand and where you teams weaknesses are. If you want all your teams volleyball stats for a match this is the software to get. Volleyball Ace support has been tremendous throughout the years switching from the Palm device to the iPad. Very satisfied user and definitely would recommend this software.

Volleyball ACE Makes me a Better Coach!
I have been using Volleyball Ace to stat my volleyball teams for over ten years. Volleyball Ace on the iPad is wonderful. Recording stats is so fast and easy that my assistant can record stats during the set and we can review them on the bench. I especially like the charting features which let me see both our attacks and our opponent's attacks, and where they are successful. I also like the Opponent Insight reports which help me to understand where our opponents are having success against us. The information I get from Volleyball Ace has made me a better coach, because the data helps me understand our team's performance on the court. I love Volleyball Ace!

Best Volleyball Stats App!
Volleyball Ace is the best app for recording volleyball stats. Because Volleyball Ace understands volleyball, you can record stats with half as many taps. Users who are not familiar with the details of volleyball stats can still record stats accurately. And because Volleyball Ace is fast, it is perfect for in game stats. I purchased several of the $2-$5 stat apps and ended up deleting them because it was too hard to keep up with the pace of play. I love Volleyball Ace. It is absolutely worth it.

Great customer service and a user friendly program that gets stats done with little effort! I would recommend is program to anyone looking to improve the way they currently take stats! I encountered an error in the way I had recorded stats and didn’t notice until I got home. I emailed VolleyballAce customer service and they offered to fix it for me, and within a couple of days they emailed my correct files to me. The customer service provided is second to none. Their program and customer service makes the app well worth the money.

Great Program
I have used this program for over 10 years( back when it was on the palm pilot) We used to give the JV team paper and pencils to take stats. I rarely got the pencils back let alone correct stats. This program is such a time saver. I haven't thrown a clipboard in years! Here in Ohio we upload our match by match stats to MaxPreps to select our All Ohio teams. I can upload a match in 2 mouse clicks. So easy.

Volleyball ace is an amazing stat program! Very simple interface that is able to keep up with the speed of the game. Also has in depth desktop analysis with very helpful and detailed stats! Also has great customer support with friendly people to help with anything you need help understanding!
Amazing volleyball app
Volleyball Ace is a great app. All I have to do is tap on the players as they touch the ball and the software figures out the stats automatically! It is so user friendly that I can have the stats recorded by my manager and assistants. And the ability to consolidate stats and to email them is really handy. I highly recommend this app.

The stat program is VERY user friendly. All questions are quickly answered by an EXCELLENT customer service! We could not ask for a BETTER program to run our stats!! Excellent!! 10 stars!!!
Problems with update
I'm not sure exactly when this problem started, if it was the last update or update to iOS 7 but now I can't do a complete match that goes to 3 sets. It has always asked when the 3rd set starts if you want to change to total points from 25 to 15. In the state of Missouri, high school are required to play to 25. Now,in the vb Ace app, no matter if I answer the question correctly (no) or try yes it still saves and closes the match when one of the teams gets to 15. I am missing many of the stats that happen in those last points of the third set. Very frustrated because this did not used to be a problem. Help!
