About

VOLTCHASE Catch lightning. Ride the storm. Voltchase is a thunder-charged arcade flyer where lightning is your fuel. Pilot a single plane through endless skies, snatching glowing bolts mid-flight to charge your Thunder Boost a 3-second invincible surge that lets you punch straight through storm cells without getting hit. Climb higher and the sky changes. You start in calm Cumulus skies under a yellow sun, push into the colder Cirrus layer, break above the clouds into the deep blue Stratosphere, and finally crack into the Aurora — green and purple bands flickering against a starry black void. Weather rolls in independently. The DRIZZLE banner means light rain and a low rumble. DOWNPOUR darkens the sky and the rumble swells. Storm cells spawn more often, flashing white as their internal lightning bolt fires off a sharp crack you can hear across the cabin. KEY FEATURES • Thunder Boost — collect 3 lightning bolts, tap to fire an invincible speed surge with an electric trail • Four altitude zones with distinct sky gradients, stars, and aurora bands • Cycling weather: clear, drizzle, downpour — full per-frame raindrop simulation • Storm cells with proper cumulonimbus rendering, internal lightning flashes, and rain trails • Lightning-crack and rolling-thunder sound design that scales with weather intensity • Combo scoring — near-miss storm cells for a 1.6× bonus • Persistent Logbook tracking lifetime lightning, storms passed, runs played, and all-time best • Six unlockable achievements: First Strike, Storm Charged, Thunder Boost, Storm Chased, Storm Chaser, Aurora Reached • Built for iPhone and iPad in portrait and landscape Tap-and-hold joystick. Drag throttle. Big lightning button. No menus to memorize. One run at a time. How far can you ride the storm?

Smoother skies on iPhone! Clouds now spawn less aggressively on smaller screens so the playfield feels fair instead of cramped. iPad cadence is unchanged.
