Without a doubt the most poorly written app. Can’t link to Bluetooth and support is useless and has no clue.

Inbetriebnahme der vorherigen Version war schwieriger. Das erscheint durch das Update wesentlich besser gelöst zu sein. Allerdings hat die Vorversion bei und auch die Geschwindigkeit angezeigt, was seit dem letzten Update leider nicht mehr der Fall ist. Die Darstellung ist m. E. schlechter geworden. Ein dunkler Modus wäre wünschenswert. Gern konstant weiterentwickeln.

Won’t connect to boat
This used to work fine but now you can’t enter the blue tooth code…. Fix this, it’s worthless if you can’t connect.
Schlechtes Update
Benzinverbrauch wird seit dem Update nicht mehr angezeigt. Das Aufzeichnen der Fahrten funktioniert nur noch sporadisch. Schade! Die vorige Version hat viel besser funktioniert.
Hopelessly Broken
The previous version actually worked fairly well for me. Then a few weeks ago I was forced to take the update which made the Easy Connect system I bought totally useless. Very disappointing that the folks at VP aren’t smart enough to quality control this product before it’s released to their customers.

Connection impossible
Une fois de plus, application non intuitive et mal conçue pour appareil Apple qui ne permet pas d'utiliser le système installé. A croire que le développeur n'essaie pas ses correctifs, connections impossibles et non reconnues

Some good improvements in Version 3.1
Make sure you update to version 3.1. Version 3 was very buggy but most of the bugs have been ironed out in 3.1 and in general, a massive improvement over the previous version, so credit where credit is due.
Great that you can now have an analogue dial for speed and RPM however, some work needed to adjust the size of the gauges to fit the viewable area, too much wasted blank space at top and bottom of the “Gauges” screen so you can’t see both dials in full simultaneously.
Great to see work being done to improve the app and to fix one of my previous issues by being able to customise the data fields displayed. The Auto configure is also a welcome addition.
Thanks to the developers, keep the improvements coming.

Volvo Penta Connect
Connects seamlessly with my EVC D4 engines . Allows me to monitor all my important gauges on the fly bridge. As an added bonus logs all my journeys through my navigation app including hours run on each engine and plotted journeys. Highly recommended.

Test version crashes when app launched.
I am testing (in TestFlight) a beta version of the software. However, it fails immediately when the app is started. Until this is resolved I can no longer use the app or the device in my boat.
Worthless
This app won’t connect either on my Android or iPad. I have two 2022 Volvo D4’s. It would be nice if Volvo would invest a little time in this technology and get it corrected.
Don’t Waste your Time
Terrible design. Won’t pair to my iPhone. Support team is of no use. They should have contracted someone who is proficient in writing apps.
Bluetooth not connecting
Both tried with a ipad mini and a iphone 8. Bluetooth connection doesn’t show. Con not connect, can not use! Big wate of a lot of money!

Great Idea 4/10 for execution
I was an early adopter of this app and system.
The idea is fabulous but ....
I tried to limit this to an IPad Air for connectivity. For a few weeks it worked holding details of Journey and displaying engine info. I also synced to my IPhone to check fuel in the boat before coming to the boat.
Then everything crashed for no reason I had to reset up everything and lost all my history. Sync basically doesn’t work properly.
Engine readout is always accurate but since this has now crashed and wiped its self 5 times I can’t trust it to hold my Journey info and must immediately resort to a paper record after the trip.
Sync is the slowest I have ever seen and seems to lock up constantly.
So if Volvo can sort out Sync across devices and make it reliable - this is a fabulous App. As a spare and remote set of Gauges and engine diags real-time it is excellent and has never failed.

Non si connette in nessun modo conl’ipone ne cin l’ipad, sono riuscito solo con un Samsung.
Sehr enttäuschend
App bricht häufig ab, die Verbindung zum Interface geht häufig verloren. Dadurch werden neue Einträge im Fahrtenbuch erzeugt.
Im Home,Obus werden Einträge. Ur unvollständig aus der Cloud geladen. Die Funktion „Zusammenführen“ funktioniert nicht.
Ingesamt für soviel Geld völlig inakzeptabel - bitte nachbessern.

Buyer beware!!!
I’ve lost over $600 to get nothing more then a glorified hour meter. I purchased the gateway and additional cable that is required for the install. I have a 2006 5.0 GXI-F and initial install gave diagnostic codes which had no breakdown of what they were tried multiple dealers and limited machinery views. Went back and forth with Volvo for over two weeks tech support returns one email a day no phone contact. I’m told I have a Gen 1 gateway and need the Gen 2. Go through warranty get the Gen 2 at and have to pay an additional $200+ dollars. Going on three months trying to figure this out with no option of a refund after the first two week purchase period. I was told I don’t have the right ecu but I have 90 pin and was argued I have a mefi sent pictures and complete wiring schematic to be told oh I was right and it should work. Finally after months of emails I’m told by the same person that said I need the Gen 2 gateway they only support the software. The more I have dug into this I see they taken money from multiple people the same way. Tried different apple products and even android which wouldn’t connect at all. Hope this saves at least one person the frustration I’ve went through and the money I’ve lost.
