Needs my cell # to work. WHY? Has never worked on 4G/5G mobile data.

What bug fixes? Still doesn’t work for core function of making calls on a 4G data connection. (Does work on WiFi now). To be clear, phone says it’s on 5G. Shouldn’t this app still work? Or it’s faulty by design, to use outdated 3G/4G only, that cell providers don’t use anymore.

After 5.1.0 update it’s STILL AWFUL.
Doesnt work at all using 5G data on the mobile phone. This is the only connection that would be really useful at all. (wifi now works; piggybacking on cellular cellular voice line worked prior; 2 out of 3 is still BAD).

This app doesn’t work on any type of data connection on the phone, despite Vonage itself being a VOIP service. The app has options to operate on wifi data or 3G/4G cellular data, but they won’t work. (using a new iPhone). Worse, the first screen of this app insists on getting my cell number. Else I can’t sign up. Why? One should have to supply a mobile # only if one wants to have Vonage calls piggyback on the existing mobile #. A VOIP service needs another phone number to make calls as it’s starting configuration ….WHY????!!! It works only with my existing cellular number. (The calling option of “cellular” appears to use only the mobile phone number and cell phone calling plan). I want to use only a data connection for Extension calls, either wifi at home, or mobile data when traveling (bought with a esim). Yet this app won’t work with either type of data connection. This is completely useless when traveling, when the cost effective travel sims are data only. I think the solution here is to just switch to any number of other virtual phone number services/apps that run on data/iPhone, and cancel Vonage itself. along with the archaic concept of a “home phone” tethered to a physical location at all.

Can't log in
I can log in with my Vonage password on the browser, but not in the app. I even tried resetting the password. No luck.

I have been with. Image for more than 15 years, never tied their extension, today want to try this stupid app says my password is incorrect. My login is working perfectly fine on my laptop.

Won’t let me login
Every time I enter my password to login it says the password is incorrect. I reset my password and I’m able to login on the website completely fine but the app will not login no matter what

Quality connection
I’ve had Vonage since its inception and I use it only for international calling. As long as I have a WiFi connection I can call at anytime from anywhere, even when I am away from my home. My family is in the UK and during Covid I spoke to them every day for 2 years and my monthly rate never changed.

Wi-Fi calling without Sim
It would be better to have WiFi calling without having Vonage to call a one time call as we keep traveling abroad and changing phones. It should be available by just logging in to Vonage account through the app. Please fix this issue as I change phones regularly and this feature won’t be available without the sim and the number registered to that sim. One time verify should be enough. Thanks.

App is broke
Login asks you to accept a hundred page terms of service but there is no option to accept the terms. Wow
Incoming Call toggle switch is unreliable
The “Incoming Call” toggle switch is currently extremely unreliable due to what appears to be a significant server-side sync lag. Specifically, when I manually switch the toggle to OFF, the iphone continues to ring for incoming calls. Conversely, when I switch it to ON, I often fail to receive calls entirely.
In both cases, there is a 5 to 10-minute delay before the app recognizes and applies the new setting. Please investigate this latency issue and release a fix as soon as possible.

Great idea, mixed results
Have used Vonage and this app for years. Some versions have been better than others. The idea for this app is great and really necessary in order to get the most out of Vanage service. However, when I answer a call on the app, I find that it drops it at some point about 50% of the time. This didn’t happen when I first got the service/app. Also, there are quite a few times when I get a call and the app never rings or activates. Great idea for an app. And critical. But I wish it worked more reliably.

Pros: You can call internationally.*
Cons: This requires you to have another phone line, to call their domestic number, then makes the call. It means if you do travel internationally, you can't make calls unless your other line works.
So if you thought this was a one stop solution to have a phone that calls your girl in each city, it still requires a phone number in every country.

SMS Option
The only thing that will make this 5 star would be to have SMS/TEXT option

Clear voice and no clicks or strange sounds. Works for my domestic and international calls. Gives me info in my account and lets me check voicemail too
Good app, terrible UI.
1. The gray tiny fonts. Why? Not everyone is blessed with 20/20 vision.
2. The inability to delete selected entries from the list of calls is primitive. It is all or nothing. Bah.
