I loved the graphic adventure games of the 90's/00"s. If you loved games like Monkey Island, you will love this.
This game has great graphics. It is full of humor reminiscent of the LucasArts games. The voice acting is top notch. I can't say enough about this game. I'm actually not even done playing it, yet, and I had to write a review. That's how much I love this game.
The storyline is compelling. And there are hints built into the game, in the sense that if you pay attention to what the characters say, especially the detective (and you can click on him to hear his thoughts anytime), and you can put two and two together, you'll do fine.
I still google for hints, because I have low frustraton tolerance and after a while I just MUST know. But here's a tip: just google a specific question, like "how do I do such-and-such in Voodoo Detective" and look at the AI generated answer, instead of just trying to look at a walkthrough website, because you'll accidentally see more than you wanted. Just one little hint and you can be on your way using your brain to figure out the rest of it.
The first thing I'm going to do after playing this game is look to see if this developer has more point-and-click games. And I will download and play all of them. And if they don't, I will hope they read this and keep making more games. This is such an awesome game. I can't wait to replay it in a few months once I've forgotten enough of it, lol.

Great characters, fun storyline, decent puzzles! Highly rec if you like games like Full Throttle, Monkey Island(s), Kathy Rain, etc.

I was expecting more out of a $15 game. I thought it would be puzzles but it’s mostly just dialogue with characters and very little piecing things together. Also, I hate to say it, but there are definite racial undertones in this game. The Voodoo Detective HATES the tourists (who are all white) and he loves the locals (who are black). I mean, I kinda get that. But then there’s also the actual white characters have either been the annoying white stereotype of overly smiley and dumb or they’re totally unlikable and rude for no reason. Tho I will say there have been a couple other white characters that seem ok.

Awesome point and click adventure! Had fun while also learning a bit about the voodoo culture. Animation/graphics are nice. Also, loveee the fact that you can have multiple outcomes to the game! 2 thumbs up Dev!
Fun Game and Story
Starts off a bit slow, then all of a sudden, you're locked into a compelling storylines with twists and turns. It's a choose your own adventure game, and I enjoyed the alternive stories. Fun!
Wasn’t as good as I was expecting.
I had my eye on this game for a while but wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend $15 on a mobile game. The other reviews convinced me. This isn’t a game where there are puzzles to solve, most of the gameplay is in the interactions you have with characters. The dialogue and wordplay is funny but I wished there was just more to the game. Other than the scene in the underworld and the final battle.. it just seemed way too easy. I guess if you’re looking for a casual chill game, that’s fine but I was hoping for something a bit more challenging and possibly longer too. It felt pretty short to me.

Like a classic
Excellent hand-drawn point-and-click adventure with nice humor and professional voice acting. Not much of these are released these days, especially for IOS, so it’s a must buy.

One of the best mobile games I've ever played
Hands down the best detective game on the market. The art style is cartoony but also creepy to suit the theme of the game. The story keeps you hooked. I love the way we get to work out everything by ourselves. Please make another.
