What's New in Vox libri

1.17

August 6, 2026

Read books in FB2 and LaTeX formats. Find and search for books in your library more easily. Update your reading progress by following the VoiceOver focus (enable this option in the Settings screen). You can also customize your reading screen and hands-free menu with more options. You can now customize which actions are available for the book text as well. We’re giving some love to older devices: enjoy VoxLibri on your Apple Watch with watchOS 11.0 and your MacBook with macOS 15! Improved headphone event handling and activity logging to help identify potential issues more effectively. Improvements have also been made to music playback while reading (remember, this feature is still in beta) and to the library experience with VoiceOver. Reading on Apple Watch has also been improved to prevent it from stopping unexpectedly.

The rreading app I’ve always wanted!

Vox Libri is an amazing app experience. It’s incredibly easy to use but has powerful tools to manage your library and customize your reading experience. I’m confident in saying that out of the reading apps I’ve used, the braille reading experience has been the best! Absolutely get this app, you won’t regret it. The developer is also extremely kind and responsive. It’s easy to tell that he is passionate about this project and the users.

Great app

This is an excellent app for reading PDFs, but there is a small bug that I would like to report. During on screen reading while performing a VoiceOver scrolling gesture it sometimes skips pages for example I was trying to read a document which was in a PDF format and during reading that document when I was scrolling pages, it directly jumped from 3rd to fifth page and it kept jumping from 3rd to 5th or 5th to 3rd page skipping the fourth page consistently. apart from that it is a great app for reading documents and books
