great app, would definitely recommend for playing music files
Already dysfunctional now with more paywalls
I’ve been using this app for ages, despite it having severe optimization problems and constant crashes just so I can utilize the SoundCloud feature
Years of dealing with unfettered garbage just for the only feature I actually enjoyed to get paywalled while the app is still broken
This isn’t going to make me pay, I am just simply going to move on to something that actually works and is free (like the actual SoundCloud app, shocker)

Layout issue Fixed!
Was a weird issue where half the functionality of the app was inaccessible due to a bad layout glitch where the setting and search bar were so high up the UI that you couldn’t even tap it. Well, happy to report that the latest update has thankfully fixed this. So now the app is back to normal. 👍 Vox is my all-time favorite music app and I’m glad to see that the devs still keep the app stable and fresh with new updates and such. Keep up the good work!

Great except the layout.
UPDATE: Version 2.22 has now fixed the display screen where artwork and button are displayed correctly. I like Apple Musics player but Vox is just so much better to navigate and better coverflow on artwork.
UPDATE:
The latest update unfortunately falls into a problem with small iPhones on the iPhone mini 12 they have fixed the layout of the album artwork fitting the screen correctly for years but now since the Dropbox feature the downward arrow which is top left covers over the time display making it impossible to use to go back or go through playlists it’s like the extra tab of that Dropbox has made the screen display worse. It would be better to put any streaming or save clouds in a separate one tab main screen like in library or playlist display as now it’s unfortunately broken.
The only thing it has missing apart from that is the song transition cross fade feature like Apple Music uses to select as that’s good to use with playlists.

UI Unusable On Latest iOS
Menu options and top controls are overlapped by the time/battery/signal row making navigating this app impossible.
Layout of the app
The layout of the UI is overlapping with my notification rubbon which makes it impossible to access any setting! This has been an issue for the past few days and start to become annoying to say the least.

as of the new update, the app’s search and settings icons are hidden behind the iphone’s battery and clock icons and therefore inaccessible. please fix this asap.

been using the app for years. app was functional before new update. now there’s a major ui bug where i can’t use the search bar or any other icons on the top part of the app anymore since it sits behind the very top of my phone screen where the battery icon is. hope they fix this soon
Fix it.
Newest update literally completely has made the app unusable on iphones. The upper most buttons are nearly impossible to press so navigation is impossible. Update or will have to delete the app

Can’t even use the app due to the search bar being located behind the battery icon now. I’ve used this app daily for years and now I’m thinking of deleting it. This new update is HORRIBLE!!!!!!
The latest update has ruined some things 🙁
running into this issue were the Vox Music Player App’s search bar and top portion is for some reason clashing with the iOS’s top icons and Dynamic Island at the top of the screen. It just started doing it this morning. I shut off my phone and rebooted it to see if that would fix it, but no luck.
Worse, the devs don’t have any available updates for it, and I don’t wanna delete the app and redownload because I’ll lose the data I have on it, and that would mean having to put hundreds of songs that I’ve uploaded to it all over again.
I even offloaded the app and redownloaded it, and even that didn’t work. What really sucks is that the button to swipe down from the top left to access the app’s setting is up so high on the screen, my swipe doesn’t even register.

Bug on ui
There is a bug on ui of older iPhones without dynamic island makes you cant reach search bar and options of changing library settings because they moved behind battery icon and clock, pls fix it asap, best regards💛
Issue with the last update
Hello, I updated to the last version some minuted ago, there is some issue cause I can’t access no more the settings menu. Search button and menu button are appearing in the top notch area near and above the wifi icon and the battery icon and they can’t be used, commands touch doesn’t works in this area. iPhone 14 Pro.

I assumed that when i tapped to display library via albums, that it would sort by albums, not artist, because it said album, using the word that means album, album. Learn UI design ffs
