Love this app
We LOVE librivox but now we love them even more. I didn’t realize the difference the sound quality would make - and the intro skipping on the chapters is the best! Love it so much!
Didn’t know I needed this.
I will stop listening to books just because of bad audio, even if I love the book and this makes it much cleaner and easier to listen to. I also love the timeline extension because it’s nice to see the different time periods. I WISH it had newer books because I just like this better than other players - but maybe they’ll add that later? Overall great app and will recommend to friends!

The best way to listen to the classics
Homeschool dad here. I’m really impressed with this app. There are thousands of classic audiobooks available completely free, with no ads or subscription, and the whole experience feels much more polished than you’d expect from a free audiobook library.
What really sets Voxelle apart is the enhanced audio. Older public-domain recordings can sometimes have distracting background noise, inconsistent volume, or rough audio quality, and Voxelle cleans them up so they’re genuinely enjoyable to listen to.
I also love that the app is focused on helping you discover great books rather than just giving you a giant search box. The curated collections, narrator browsing, offline listening, bookmarks, playback speed, and timeline features make it feel like an audiobook app that was actually built by someone who loves books.
If you enjoy the classics, history, philosophy, or just want a huge library of audiobooks without another monthly subscription, this is absolutely worth downloading.
Five stars. Excited to see the library continue to grow!
