Garbage

So I bought this basically because james li recommended the app. It worked great for about a month and now it just hangs and locks forever. Every single VPN source is snail slow and they only have like three. definitely not ready for primetime and I would avoid as it will not provide you VPN service it will just slow down everything to the point of nothing working so what’s the point after that?

Garbage, don’t even bother

Constant issues with connectivity with this VPN. I’ve been back and forth with support so many times now, they just started ignoring me. Had to take the dispute to the credit card company. Seriously, save yourself the hassle with these guys and look elsewhere.

Trash

I hate this vpn nothing works when it’s on and it’s constantly changing my location to international routers. What’s the point of being able to favorite a location if it doesn’t automatically route it to that location? Waste of money

Danger zone

Continues to charge Credit Card after discontinuing. Glitches within the system won’t recognize your email address after signing up with them. No way to communicate with this company and automatic billing magically occurs.

I can’t be tracked because I can’t connect.

This app worked seamlessly at first. Now I cannot stay connected. I have to disconnect both wireless and app continually in effort to access websites. Surfing/using the web is now time-consuming & frustrating. I can rarely connect to Amazon. I’m constantly re-routed to Amsterdam. This app is a pig in a poke.

Abysmal Customer Service

Can barely get a reply and no resolution to an issue. Service is wonky on the phone.

Works like half the time

Annoying, clunky, and slow for starters. The mobile app takes everything as suggestions and just in general the VPN doesn’t work how it should. I love this app and the dev team but c’mon… It gets to a point where if talking through a can and string is easier and higher quality than using this VPN maybe You should give Us what We paid for.

Stability sucks

Speed and reliability are awful for about 2-3 months. Now it doesn’t work at all. Won’t connect whatsoever even after reinstalling. Why am I paying for this

Stopped working on all devices

This VPN no longer functions or connects. Deleting and reinstalling the app does nothing

Speed and reliability are awful.

Stop Changing the Location I Set

I want to like this app; I really do. The fact that a lot of sites don’t work when this VPN is active is solid evidence that the encryption actually works as intended. That being said, I’m trying to keep my VPN set in the US for privacy purposes— where my data will be protected by US Law. I’ve favorited numerous US locations, and yet the app keeps automatically resetting my VPN location to Amsterdam almost constantly. This location also comes with ping of about 120, and I can see my download and upload speeds drastically decrease when browsing or downloading app updates and/or data. Furthermore, changing the location to overseas takes my data out of the jurisdiction of US privacy laws, and subjects my data to foreign data collection (by both US and foreign governments). This is absolutely unacceptable and completely contrary to why I paid for this app in the first place.

Let me set where I want my data routed. I wanted this app for data privacy purposes; not to watch Netflix shows that only air in Amsterdam. There are dozens of other VPNs that I could use for that.

I will say that this VPN works much better on my computer; this issue only seems to exist on the mobile app. I’ll update my review when they add a feature that lets me use this app for the purpose for which it was designed.

If you are politically active and or doing sensitive business this tool is essential

So far so good

Only a few days of having it. let’s wait and see if a foreign government gets involved later🧐

Jurisdiction matters: stop sending my traffic abroad

Setting a ‘favorite’ U.S. location in the iOS app is apparently just a mood board. No matter what I pick, my traffic still takes an unscheduled trip overseas. I’m not claiming they ‘expose’ my data; I’m pointing out that once traffic leaves the United States, it’s no longer protected by U.S. law—and they know this. It’s been months and the app still ignores my saved U.S. location. For a company built on ‘privacy,’ you’d think ‘don’t route customers outside their chosen jurisdiction’ would be table stakes. But sure, let my connection collect passport stamps instead.
