About

vCam Native turns your iPhone or iPad into a camera for virtual production. Move the device and your shot moves too, with full position-and-rotation tracking sent live to your studio software. Your VRM avatar shows up framed right in the viewfinder. It runs on ARKit world tracking and was built for iOS 26, so you get smooth pose data with very little lag, whether you're feeding a VTuber rig, a virtual set, or a previs shot. CAMERA TRACKING Full 6-DoF world tracking, so position and rotation both stay locked to your room. The field of view comes from the actual camera lens, not a guess. Tap to set a world anchor and shoot relative to it. On-screen joysticks let you offset a virtual rig for dolly, truck, and boom moves, and the dial modes give you a few different feels to shoot in. STREAM TO YOUR STUDIO VMC and OSC output drives any VMC receiver with camera and lens data. FreeD output covers virtual sets and tracking systems that expect the standard protocol. Both run at once, locked to every tracked frame, and you set the IP and ports to match your network. NDI VIDEO Send the camera feed over NDI to switchers, OBS, and your compositing tools. Pull an NDI source back in as a viewfinder overlay so everything on the network stays in sync. LIVE AVATAR IN AR Load a VRM avatar and watch it composite into your scene as you shoot. The look is cel-shaded, with outlines, soft shading, and a contact shadow on the floor. ARKit face tracking moves the expressions, and models that support perfect-sync get the full set. You can also receive bone and blendshape data to mirror your studio rig live, play VRMA animations, and ground the avatar with a faint floor reflection. RECORDING Record takes straight from the device. The orientation locks for the length of a take, so turning the phone partway through won't flip the shot. You can save pose and lens clips and replay the moves later. DESIGNED FOR iOS 26 Native SwiftUI with the Liquid Glass interface. Tuned for iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPad Pro. Everything ships off, so you turn on only what a given shoot needs. If you're a VTuber, an indie filmmaker, or running a virtual-production stage, vCam gives you a real camera you can pick up, track, and stream without any extra hardware. Available in English, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, and Bahasa Indonesia.
