Can’t even login
Worst app ever. Can’t even login. Takes you to the webpage, wants you to allow opening another app, does nothing. Can’t even login. Worthless junk.
No longer works on iPhone7
Disappointingly this app has now stopped working on my iPhone 7. It no longer displays any of the charts and just shows ‘No data to display’. Same in VictronConnect. Reinstalling the app and clearing the cache etc does not fix this issue. It seems like an update broke it.
Total Remote Access
Victron VRM is one of the best remote access apps for solar equipment I have ever seen. I have used quite a bit a solar hardware over the years, and nothing comes close to Victron’s VRM. Most manufacturer’s apps give you an overview of thier solar production and logging, Victron VRM allows that too, and almost complete control over settings and configuration as well. You can make and tweak settings to your solar system remotely from almost anywhere in the world. VRM is very stabile and constantly updated to cover new hardware. This is a 5 star App.

Watch App Display Incorrect
Watch shows DC Load as AC Load - the same value is duplicated when AC power is off
Disappointed
Data only shows up on console and not the actual VRM Home Screen. Problem seems to be widespread with no known common solution… I’d expect better from Victron.

Really struggling with live capacity again
Which is much more important of course than all the bells and whistles.
Update: the lack of a live feed is causing me real headaches. I often need to know exactly what the system is doing. Especially this time of year. Will put 2 stars back on when this is reliably fixed.

Browser Tab as a standalone app??
Sad. Even logins timeout still? The VRM portal itself is nice, but this app is a joke. It should extend functionality, look nicer, something… it’s literally exactly like having VRM up in a browser tab. Even your login times out the same.
Displaying incorrect reading.
Great to have VRM on a watch app. One problem though, the watch app is showing the reading for DC power under the heading AC loads.

VRM is a good app for a great set of products. I use the app every day to monitor and optimise my home solar system. It is great to see a new Apple Watch app. It is still quite limited but is a very solid first step. Highly recommended.
VRM
VRM is quiet literally amazing. I have a full Victron setup in my RV and with VRM I can check the status of every device and control the system. Victron is with a doubt top of the range and beats the opposition hands down.
Notifications still in Celsius
I am glad to have the VRM portal in an iOS update. It was nice last year when they added the ability to have temperature units in Fahrenheit. All temperatures displayed within my VRM app are in Fahrenheit.
Unfortunately notifications for temperature alarms are still in Celsius along with alarm emails. Please fix this.
I will be happy to update my review once this is addressed. This is a great app otherwise.

Tanks and temp gone
It seems you can no longer add a widget for tank or temp monitoring?
Essential for any Victron system user
App is nearly perfect but critically needs an Apple Water app, if people out there can use IFTT hacks surely you devs can too.
2 yrs of use, very happy.
I’ve been using the VRM app on an Apple phone for about two years now. We’re very happy with it. We can see all necessary information, and when necessary were able to fire up the generator and charge the batteries so that they are maintained and avoid freezing.
We once notice constant draw on the system. This was when the cottage was winterized, and there should have been very little electrical draw. Because of this we researched and learned that the septic pump was constantly running do a freeze up in some pipes. so ultimately, the VRM helped us troubleshoot a problem we did not know existed.

Great but buggy
This is a great app version of the web portal, but both need better bug fixing.
For example the inverter control as access in settings>general>control pale don’t show up properly on an iPhone or iPad.

Fabulous dashboards at your fingertips and ability to remotely connect
The app works great and the temperature units mismatch I was experiencing was resolved when I upgraded the firmware on my CerboGX. All good now!
