Doesn’t work properly
I am disappointed with my purchase of the VTines iOS app.
I can hear what sounds like a difference in samples in the transition from E,F, F# below middle C. There doesn’t appear to be anything I can do to get rid of a clicking sound when moving between these notes. The velocity control helps but doesn’t mask the problem.
I am using a 2 month old Yamaha YC-88 stage piano (£2500) as the midi controller and an iPhone 13 to host the app. Unfortunately, it is unusable in my case. I have requested a refund from Apple.

Like a Rhodes inside your iPhone/iPad!
Great app, sound is very close to a real Rhodes, plays really well. I have the VST, but could'nt resist the IOS app. Its great to be able to muck around with a soulful E.P sound whenever inspiration strikes!
Good sound, limited options
Acoustic Samples makes good libraries. I have a number of them (including VTines) that I’ve used with my IMac and project studio. I decided to give the iOS version a try, to use along with an MPC Live when I wanted to hang out in the living room etc. I was disappointed to find that the effects of the MacOS version aren’t available, but not a major issue. Please update the software to provide more traditional control of velocity sensitivity. For people using larger keyboards this is likely not an issue, but with an Akai Mpk Mini Plus, VTines Live is close to unusable. The Mpk mini works fine with Akai plugin instruments, and I’m able to make any necessary adjustments with the other iOS instruments I’ve tried. It’s possible to adjust the MPK’s velocity response by connecting it to the computer, but that would throw it out of balance with everything else. Please address this, and maybe work the effects back in if possible. VTines Live is probably the best sounding iOS Rhodes, but it’s lacking in flexibility at the moment.
